Our clear strength is our front 3 and our clear weakness is our defence. I've just got a feeling that Pardew finally recognises that trying to hit the ball from back to front isn't the way to get the best from the team. We played the ball out from the back, we didn't hit it from the back. He's seen that we can play through the opposition better than playing over them, I hope.

I think he'll know our weakness and strength, we'll go for it.
-
Back to Pardew, let's hope West Brom wasn't a one off and we repeat what we did against a better side on Sunday.
-
Enrique is brilliant at getting back at players who have got past him, I'm not too sure he'll have the movement to handle a player like Ben Arfa who can go straight or can change direction so quickly with the ball under control.
-
Enrique will have faced Ben Arfa many times in training, he's a very good defender but I bet he's shitting bricks about the possibility of what's coming on Sunday.

It's a recession and tickets are £20 for an adult and £10 for kids.

Injury history? He has played in 29 out of 30 league games and 4 out of 5 cup games? How much more proof do you need before you accept that he's got a 3 to 4 month injury?

Everything we did well came through Ben Arfa, he set us up and he destroyed WBA, I don't find him frustrating at all and I can't wait to see him on Sunday because he has the potential to put Liverpool to the sword. He can do things that no other player at this club could even dream about doing and for that reason he can try anything he wants because when it works he’s devastating to the opposition. He was almost given, or took a free role on Sunday and West Brom just couldn’t handle him and few teams could have handled him because of his control, movement, change of pace, great centre of balance and his reading of the game. He’s a massive talent and he’s ours, he might be a nut job but so are we as a club. Ben Arfa is the most exciting player we’ve had for years and to cap it off, it was his decision to come here when he turned up at the airport to force a deal through. He could genuinely become a legend here and people could be talking about him for years and years. De jong is an utter utter bastard for what he did, both to him and us because we've both been robbed of over a year of his career.
-
He's gone all out for the result today, like he said he would. I hope that's the way we play from now on and I'll give him massive credit if he does use that as a benchmark. What you've said is fairly accurate, it also reflects the way that we've been playing.
-
We'd also finished 13th twice in the league and looked in danger of going down.
-
He gets praise when things he does work, he's getting praise today but some are trying to find an argument even when we've played well and won, explain that one.
-
We'll beat them if we play the way we did today and Coloccini is fit.
-
4 more years of Ben Arfa, he's worth the admission alone when he's on top form.

Some of the gloating in here is pathetic. Nobody wants us to play poor football, nobody wants Pardew to fail because if he does, we all do. Some people think we've been playing some negative shit while getting results and I think most who do think we've played some negative shit thought that the current players were capable of better, today we've shown that they are. Maybe the wrong people are the ones who are actually gloating, just a thought.
-
He didn't look too bad, hopefully he came off as a precaution.
-
Ben Arfa has proven once again that he's a class act who changes games, bring on Liverpool.
-
Well done Pardew, we can play football and we can win games doing so.
-
Krul has played a big part in the first half, playing the ball out from the back means the forwards aren't always facing away from goal.
-
I don't think I was expecting that, let's take it to them in the 2nd half.
-
I never mentioned Simpson, I'm guessing Jonas is playing in defence and I'd rather he was playing further forward.
-
Same as last week by the looks of it.
-
I'd rather have Santon in for Perch.
-
I know, after all they have won 4 games at home and lost twice as many.
