I don't know how people can defend Pardew after that shite. We were garbage at home again, I don't think for one minute that we're not capable of playing better than that.
-
I'll give him credit, the results are better than his ability, well done to him for that.

They are different conditions, in both cases you have a better chance of recovery the further you get from the initial problem.
-
Cat, if that's the case, is it a bad thing for his long-term chances that his condition hasn't improved/he isn't stable after so many hours? I know no one knows specifics, but.. My dad was critical for days after a massive heart attack, 20 years later and 70 years old and he's still alive. I wouldn't write a 23 year old athlete off yet. I would think the longer it goes on the better.

Williamson and Simpson are getting stick for not being able to kick a ball, I don't remember too many complaints last season.
-
You've named 2 out of 10 outfield players who can't, any more? 'From the back.' 3 out of 5, actually. We've usually got Tiote and/or Cabaye starting from deep so it wouldn't take much of a pass to find one of those two.

True, ours might as well be plane spotting at times.

So was Perch yet some people hope he starts on Sunday.
-
You're probably right.

I've been through 3 relegation since going to games and the worst by far was the relegation under Ashley, that season must go down as being the worst ever at Newcastle, it has nothing to do with any man love for Keegan but nice try at putting people down who are bothered by what happened. Was the relegation an accident waiting to happen? We have come close to it but that is no excuse for a relegation which is soley to do with the way that Ashley managed or allowed the club to be managed and had nothing to do with anything which had previously happened at the club. I call the Leazes that, my kids call it the Sir John Hall stand. We've been in better shape twice recently, not just when Keegan was here, we were also in better shape when Sir Bobby was here and that's just twice in recent times. Other than that, we've been in better shape quite a few times on the pitch and we've won 11 major trophies, we've won nothing under Ashley at this time, not that any of this has anything to do with the clubs finances.

3-0 home win if we have a go at them.

The Keegan debacle was quite a major balls up and one which ended in us being relegated and adding quite a big chunk to the debt which he's covered with an interest free loan, he's getting no praise for that. The fact that the clubs history doesn't matter to you is a personal view and not one shared by many. I would say renaming the ground is about as big as anything that has negatively happened off the field to the club since it was formed. As for the club being in the best shape it's ever been in, it isn't arguable, it's been in better shape.

I'll take your word for it, I can't remember it.

Has anybody claimed that Pardew has asked him to defend all of the time?
-
That doesn't really narrow it down, what was it called?
-
I've read a few of his books, which one?
-
Excellent, so Sir Bobby once had a go at Robert for not tracking back.
-
Ben Arfa has tracked back whenever he's played, he's being asked to do more. I'm not suggesting that he should never track back. I would just prefer him to be employed forward as much as possible and I don't want him standing on the edge of the box, like he was when he played a ball to Simpson and then picked it back up from him.
-
I'll have to give you that one.
-
If you want real irony I suggest you look to see who the manager at the time was and remember what he was preaching at the time about wingers.
-
Like we have when Ben Arfa has 3 players around him or like we regularly did when Jonas was doubled up on or do other team have more players on the pitch than we do? Like it or not, Ben Arfa is our player most likely to do something from the half way line and we should take advantage of that.
