We had a better alternative on the bench.

I don't see how his substitutions were excellent when our two ineffective forwards came back out for the 2nd half.
-
I was actually sticking up for him before the game because not everything he does is wrong. I couldnt defend his decision to bring out the same front 2 which had been abysmal in the first half and I couldn't defend bringing on Taylor for Jonas. I praised him for the 2nd half performance against Arsenal but not the first half of the same game. Come on Mick, me and you are in this together. We backed Mike Ashley and we're finally going to prove our decision right as we're on the edge of European football, not only have we turned around the club from being a team of overpaid, players in to a highly thought of first team but we're on the edge of something special. Honestly Mick when we rebuild the team with the Carroll money we're going to be so proud. European football here we come. That has to be Wullie.

I don't see anything wrong with playing the ball to Tiote at all and see nothing else open to Coloccini because he had Sturridge closing in on him which stopped him from playing it to Nolan who was in space. http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/2286/boltongoal2.jpg

Tiote wasn't under immense pressure when Coloccini played the ball to him, he had one Bolton player behind him and one in front of him who was on the ground. Nolan was to the left of Tiote and in a bit of space, Enrique was to his right. The problem was that Tiote played the ball to Elmander and not Enrique, that had nothing to do with Coloccini who had no other ball to play, other than to Tiote or hoof it out of play when it looked like we could play the ball out.

His lack of awareness of the offside rule is starting to make Shola look like a footballing genius.
-
Coloccini gets very little blame as he made a perfectly good pass to Tiote who then tried to get the ball to Enrique but it got nowhere near him and went straight to Elmander.
-
Coloccini played a perfectly good ball to Tiote who would normally come out with the ball, it was Tiote's fault that they scored. Harper should have done better, for some reason he struggles with that type of low shot.

I thought that we'd got the better of the two and I think that would have been proven if Woodgate was made of something other than glass.

I stretched the spring in the hope that it would be a bit more powerful, that failed.

The only use I had for mine was firing corks with it in the house.

They are shit.

I think he's being unfairly targeted by the media.
-
They had 3 blocks.
-
I'd guess at the ball being dead for about 20% of the game.
-
Harper was doing some serious time wasting in the 2nd half. A ball boy was going to hit the ball to him and Harper told him to leave it.
-
It was also interesting that Nolan screwed up in front of the Leazes and started screaming at Williamson as if to say it was his fault.

Sorry, I'm not being pedantic, I was going off the last 3 months which would have been the Man City game.

Wigan, West Ham, Birmingham and who?
-
I don't remember a single shot on target from him, when was that?
