  1. I doubt we'd have been down to 10 men against Bolton if he'd been playing so we could have had 11 men for 90 minutes and a better chance of gaining 3 points. Also, 1 win since he left.
  2. Agreed, I look forward to watching Ryan Taylor on the wing again.

    Kevin Nolan

He must have been on a diet.

Dyer only seemed to be at his best when he was coming back from injury, which to be fair, was quite aften. He seemed to regain his fitness and then just slacken off.

No, the German Shepherd is the one with the ass full of cp40.

I'd rather watch Dyer at his best than Nolan at his best.
  7. If Shola starts we'll probably spend 90 minutes hoofing the ball to him. We should run a sweep to see who is offside the most between him and Best.
  8. I've just booked extra tickets on the strength of it.

Nobody in their right mind would post the one you replied to.

    Ryan Taylor

He's made 13 first team appearances but should have had more games last season when Guthrie was played on the wing.

    Ryan Taylor

He's looked OK here when played.

Agreed, Lua Lua should be fit soon and we'd get more from him over 90 minutes than Taylor.
  13. He wasn't poor, he wasn't up to his usual high standard, that hardly makes him poor for that game.
  14. They tried though, unlike, say, us. I thought Hughton was a top, top manager, you can't possibly be suggesting that he got it wrong. Well Pardew actually tried in the FA Cup and still cocked up, so I don't know what that says about him. And what on earth has Pardew got to do with this discussion? Get a life, man. Pardew has as much to do with this thread as Hughton, who you brought into it.
  15. Carr, Bowyer and Martins lift a trophy, I feel sick.
  16. When we play it out from the back and it works it’s fine, when it doesn't work we should have hoofed it. I'd love to know how any of our players are supposed to knew if it's going to work or not. We have to either accept that at times it will go wrong or we tell them to hoof it every time and give away possession more often than we currently do. Personally, I’m willing to accept that every so often we’ll make a mistake but more often than not it will work to our advantage.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

You know when he's telling lies, his lips move.
  18. I like Harper but his big weakness is the kind of shot that they scored from yesterday. I wouldn't change any of the three outfield players who could have prevented the goal as they all have more positives than negatives. We should have been well ahead of Bolton before they equalised anyway.
  19. I thought that Best worked hard and is playing better than I expected, he was as frustrating as hell yesterday and looked like he could have played all day without scoring.
