I don't, Perch wasn't bad today.
-
That was a good point away from home. Hopefully that's the last time we'll see Smith and Nolan playing together for a while.
-
He wasn't.
-
I'm over the moon, this could turn out to be our best signing for years.
-
We'll not have long to wait, I'll still be surprised if this happens.
-
I wouldn't like to be anywhere near the server.
-
I don't doubt that he's better than what we've got, I just don't see what sitting on our bench will offer that sitting on the Spurs bench doesn't.
-
Excellent, that might knock some sense into you.
-
Do you think Keane is going to leave Spurs to sit on our bench?
-
If we sign Ben Arfa and bring in Keane we're going to have to make massive changes to our game and drop at least two players. I'm not too sure that Hughton is thinking about going 2 up front again so he'd struggle to make the numbers fit. I am assuming that Keane will not want to spend a lot of time on the bench and I could be wrong.
-
Your question is daft and doesn't deserve an answer. The reason I doubt he'll come here is that I think he'll move for the same reason as Ben Arfa, if he does. He'll want to play games, in his case because he hasn't got long left as a top player in this league.
-
None of those players you've mentioned are getting league games, where would Keane fit in?
-
Would he come here to sit on the bench for long? My guess is that he wouldn't.
-
I'd rather the sky did fall than for us to sell Enrique.
-
Do we need him? Keane is an excellent player heading towards the end of his career, I think the time isn't right for him to come here. If we sign Ben Arfa then Keane probably wouldn't get a start because Carroll isn't going to get dropped any time soon and I doubt Keane would want to come here to sit on the bench. Having said that, Carroll is still in danger of doing time and if that happens we're in the shit so who knows?
-
I don't think you have too much to worry about, we've only sold players recently who wanted to leave or weren't good enough. Enrique is loving it here so I doubt that he'll be going anytime soon.

Clubs are going to have to be self financing due to UEFA rules, we're not going to be able to spend what we don't earn. Every team in Europe is going to have to be run that way so we are doing the right thing by not spending as if money is going out of fashion. We are reducing our wage bill now and have been for a while so we should be strongly placed to take advantage of our prudence as long as we don’t try to do too much too soon on the cost cutting. Teams like Stoke and Wigan will not be able to compete with us if we can fill the ground, something which we couldn't do against Villa when we had around 9,000 empty seats. In answer to the question “Are we on the up, as a club?” We are at the minute while we’re still capable of shooting ourselves in the foot so it’s too early to get carried away.

As Midds says, it was the 89/90 season and I was also there. It was a shit ground and I was behind the goal in a massive terraced area, I remember a lot of trouble kicking off before the game, especially next to a huge roundabout where we had to walk through.

We can't keep giving away goals just because the opposition have a shot, I'm one of Harpers biggest fans but at some stage Krul might become a safer option.
-
I'm not sure we can give Harper until Christmas if he doesn't improve, I hope he does because I don't think he's done himself justice for a while now.
-
I like him and think he's quality, he's not Beardsley x 2 though.
-
I agree with whoever said that.
-
Somebody on Legends said tonight that they didn't win a game last season without him scoring.

What was the good news on your honeymoon, did you find out that your marriage had been annulled?
