I'm glad that he's scored and he showed loads of bottle when he didn't want to go off injured, having said that, I thought he was going to get another booking when he started to run at the ref before thinking better of it.

Hopefully Colback is now a thing of the past.

A manager who influences games, who would have thought that?

That was a terrible first half but we came back well in the second. The first two substitutions went a long way to us getting the point, not only because of the part Anita played in the goal but it meant we finished the game with no sendings off because both Colback and Janmaat both looked like picking up a second booking. I think the late equaliser will give us a lift and we have a couple of weeks to do some work with the players. Cisse did very little after coming on but he was somebody else for them to have to think about. A win would have been really good but nobody should underestimate how far that point can take us and it means the mackems winning run has been put to bed.

I was supposed to be picking somebody up from the airport at 11:30 and have now been told the French are on strike and they've been delayed 2 hours so I'll have to listen to the first half on the radio, gutted.

9 days from not giving a shit to not being able to sleep, pathetic.

This is the most important derby in my lifetime and I think we'll come out of it with all 3 points, I can't wait for it.

Christ, I was crediting him with having more sense than he deserves.

Pep Pardiola must be one of ours.

I'm now struggling to work out who on that forum is a palace fan or who is taking the piss.

Greg That's great. Is that on the holmesdale site? http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=143256&page=4

Do Palave fans actually see Ian Wright as being someone of sound mind? f***ing cockney reprobates. I'm surprised they haven't actually quoted you, you supported him long enough. What a melt. Yes, you were. We tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen.

We don't need an early goal at all although it would be nice, we need one more goal than them and I don't care if it comes in the 100th minute. I think the only way the crowd becomes nervous is if they are all over us and that is not likely. As for the mackem form, their away from is not better than our home form and our last home performance was entirely down to the manager losing the dressing room as they simply were not playing for him.
-
Leicester have scored 18 more goals than the mackems and it took a spectacular overhead kick to get a goal at leicester.

I wouldn't be confident at all about our chances if fat Sam was our manager, we were the better team in the last game until we wrongly had a player sent off and I thought they were just like we were when he managed us. They have a better goal scorer than we have at the minute but it's 11 v 11 and I think us being at home with a better manager swings it towards us. If we still had McClaren we would have struggled, with Benitez were going to be a different proposition both on and off the pitch.
-
They don't. That's why they've beat us 6 times in a row and we haven't even scored against them in 4. We might as well not bother turning up then.
-
Exactly. If we stay up, spend big in the summer and the club is transformed over the next couple of years into one regularly challenging for Europe then who knows, he could land himself the Middlesbrough or Hull job. He'll have the world at his feet and will be able to walk into any job.
