  1. He was my biggest worry before the game but in reality he was the only one of the starting 11 who performed above expectation.
  2. If he stays we'll see a massive turnover of players no matter which division we're in. We need a whole new defence, our central midfield can't control a game and we need more goals. Personally, I want to see the back of Coloccini, Dummett, Colback, Anita, Cisse, Gouffran, Obertan, Elliot, Janmaat, Tiote, Taylor, Doumbia, Riviere, Marveaux, Good, Ameobi, Bigirimana, Cabella and Vuckic.
  3. He will play for us again and I'd have him in before Taylor every game.
  4. He should be back for our next game and I'd be tempted to give him an extra week to regain full fitness because I can't see us getting anything from Southampton.

I've come back from a 10 to 9 but we don't look like stopping up. We probably need to win all of our home games and I can't see us beating Man City and Spurs.
  6. He would have put in a better performance than most of the useless bastards on display today.
  7. He came here, started well and is now showing why Swansea were happy to take our money.

Another useless bastard who should and probably will be getting his P45 soon.

    Graham Carr

This bloke has actually earned a living building our team.
  10. Steve Taylor should be taken to the knackers yard and melted down for glue.
  11. I thought the keeper has saved it even though everybody else was going mad.
  12. We defended the free kick poorly but the morons who kept the ball should be thrown off the Tyne Bridge on the way home.
  13. 4 out of 7 subs are forwards, i guess we're not going looking for a bore draw.
  14. He came across as calm to me and that's not a bad thing in my opinion.
  15. It doesn't reflect our current situation, it reflects a team that was managed coached for 28 games by McClaren.
  16. Tiote can be an effective player when he keeps it simple, it's when he tries to be more than he actually is that he turns to shit. Tiote at his best is good enough to get into our team.
  17. I'm reasonably confident that we can get a good result from this game if we can stay compact and the defence offer some cover for the keeper who will need help. We have some good players who clearly weren't playing for McClaren and we have a top manager who can organise us and can actually add to and change our game during the game and that is a strange feeling. This is a game I'm looking forward to watching and regardless of what some say, it's not a must win game even if we could do with all 3 points as we could lose this and still stay up but I think we will win. The bottom teams are where they are for a reason and we're the only ones who have good reason to be positive and the reason is our new manager. Bring it on.
