Don't take this personally, but you're everything that's wrong with the world. Yeah, demonstrating belief in one's ability to control and suppress destructive urges is everything that's wrong, Ian. Your lack of empathy is just frightening. Your belief that everyone can just decide to be amazing no matter what the external factors are is what leads to people being ignored and neglected on a massive scale, including by governments.

Is it not "you're too thick"?

They tried but Enrique wouldn't come back.

Better than Krul.

His knees must be under massive amounts of stress carrying all that weight. Most animals his size spread the load over 4 legs.

They're years ahead of us who have a manager who has no experience in the championship, they're really lucky.

I've never had anything against Liverpool fans or the club, apart from the way they went on when Suarez was getting done for biting. My experiences of Liverpool fans have always been positive.

They're at what is more than likely their peak level, we can and most certainly will improve.

Yet they waited so long before binning McClaren.

Another article from Moncur, at least I think it's a different one and he doesn't come out too badly in this. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rafa-benitez-asked-hed-stay-11098645 Bob Moncur holds meeting with Rafa Benitez and relays wishes of Newcastle United supporters to club's new boss Rafa Benitez has been asked to stay on at Newcastle United - even if the club are relegated this season. Club director Bob Moncur held a face to face meeting with the former Real Madrid and Liverpool boss this week and told him that the fans are desperate to see Benitez rebuild the club no matter happens this season. Moncur remains part of the club’s football board and in his Chronicle column this week described the appointment of Benitez as a “coup” for the club. Now, Moncur, speaking in an interview with the Scotsman, said: “I was trying to get him to commit to the club long-term. “Everyone expects him to leave if we get relegated but I told him he was the future. “He could re-build us and hopefully make us great again. “I told him I was speaking on behalf of all the fans, those poor, long-suffering folk who sing Blaydon Races in all weathers. “I got quite emotional as I was speaking to him and could feel myself welling up. “That happens more since my cancer.” However, Benitez’s response left Moncur impressed. He said: “I like Rafa . “He’s a football man, very sincere, and he looks you straight in the eye. “I told him it would reflect well on him if he didn’t just walk away. “But I couldn’t quite get the answer I was looking for, other than: ‘Bob, we won’t be relegated.’ I told him that impressed me, although had to add that I’ve seen more of this team than him and know what they can be like. “Plus, I’m a dour Scotsman who tends to look on the black side.”

It's too early to say.
-
He's trying to keep a distance to avoid criticism at the same time as bigging the club up. I can't stand him, even if he has won a trophy in my lifetime.
-
Hopefully they've only got him on suicide watch so they can film his death and stick it on YouTube.

I'm convinced that Rafa is going to keep us up, everything about him is positive and it will rub off on others and we simply couldn't be in better hands. He can take the club to heights that we haven't been to for a long time and the club will appear to be a professional outfit once again. All we need to do is back him 100% and let him get on with his job, it isn't rocket science and the pricks who run our club have fallen on their feet this time.

Cruyff and Bowie going in the same year, 2016 hasn't gone too well so far.
-
After today, I think he was more likely trying to trick a pigeon down from the roof of the stands.
-
RIP, he was a brilliant footballer and is a sad loss.
-
Rafa never looks relaxed, he always looks as if he's trying to work something out.
-
I'm sure he said that he was living in Newcastle during an interview, i would guess a bit of both.
-
He already has and I have no doubt we'll see more in our next game.
-
Benitez will learn more about his players during a game than he ever will during training. He'll make mistakes because he might have too much faith in players he doesn't really know yet but he got us a point that we wouldn't have had without him. I'll give him 8 out of 10 again today for the simple reason that he's still learning but is also effective with his changes.
-
Still at 5 but would have been at 8 or 9 if we hadn't got that point.
-
Jill is right.
-
He needs replacing at the end of this season, no matter what division we're in.

Hopefully we've seen the last of this piece of shit.
