Coloccini needs to go to the same glue factory as Taylor, he's way past his best and is only going to carry on the decline. At one point he was brilliant for us but he's outlived his welcome.
-
Those tweets actually piss me right off, he's showing more passion for a club who shit on him than the current bunch of tossers have shown collectively all season.
-
That's basically what I think.

I think Rafa will stay here and I think he'll get all of the power he asks for. Keeping Rafa is a no brainer and I think he'll be seen as a buffer for the idiots he works for and I think they'll realise they've got as lucky as they'll ever get with appointing him. His wages will be less than one of our higher earning players so I doubt that will be an issue. I walked away a couple of years ago but will definitely look to get another season ticket for next season if he's still here, no matter which division we're in. Carr is almost certain to go, the best he can hope for is to stay with reduced say in transfers and I would expect Charnley might get the bullet if we get relegated. My worry about Charnley getting the bullet is that Llambias could come back and that would keep me away from the club.

It's not over yet, defeat or even a draw at the weekend and we have no way back. I'm not sure were capable of getting anything so I'm not too hopeful.
-
Win next week and we have a chance, anything less and we're down.
-
That wasn't due to happen until the end of the season. I realise it isn't a big task (admin wise, to get it done), but it says a lot imo. It says we have a clause that either side can activate.

It wasn't long ago that people were saying that we'd never get him here as manager. I wouldn't write him off for next season, no matter which division we're in.

Winning this would give everybody a massive lift going into the game with Swansea. If we couldn't beat Norwich we're unlikely to get anything from this. We should be a bit better at the back with Dummett and Coloccini due back. We have to hope that the Southampton players feel like they can't finish in the top 5 and don't put in too much effort. -

I'm saying nothing until at least we have an idea of who is fit to play, if Taylor and Anita are starting again we've got no chance. -
The problem for Rafa is that he's having to do stuff now that he would have normally done pre-season and not everything will work for him. It's a massive plus that he can see when it's going wrong and does something about it earlier rather than later.

We'll lose, the best we can hope for is to keep the goals against down to the players don't lose any more confidence. Goal difference isn't even an issue because we're that bad ours means we have to end up on more points than two teams. -
Hold on, I'll just give Roy a ring and I'll get back to you.
-
He wasn't as bad as you're now making out, he was just an easy target while here because he thought that he was better than he was.
-
You have to have balance.
-
All defenders back off at times, it's coached into them that they don't dive in and take themselves out of the game.
-
He was nowhere near as bad as some made out.

If I was given a choice I would rather have Rafa and Ashley at the club than neither of them. Replace Charnley with a competent MD and get rid of Moncur and Carr and we could do OK.
