If the players are up for this game and have a go at them we'll come away with 3 points.
-
You'll not have to wait that long if we end the season where we are now because it will be a better position in the league than the season before. I just wonder how that one would be put down as a negative?
-
Roeder as a manager doesn't come anywhere near to Keegan and I find that easy to say. Keegan is miles ahead of him and I guess very few people would say that he wasn't.
-
Smith has shown nothing at all to suggest he's going to improve although he could, my guess is that he'll not.
-
I like the first question, a question that could just as easily be directed to those who were having a go at Keegan after a few weeks in the job. I'm quite happy to say that Keegan will leave us in a better position than when he took over, something which he's done both times he's left in the past. Also, just because you get Smith right doesn't mean that you'll get everything else right, if that was the case then most on this forum would be right as very few thought he was a good signing. Keegan may have lost a few games but that was down to circumstances which he inherited, some realised that, others didn't and the knee-jerk reaction was pathetic.
-
I thought that Taylor would become a very good player but he hasn't. Passing the buck to everybody but him is daft as he's responsible for his own performances, nobody else.
-
The transfer forum sounds good, any chance of a forum for the knee-jerkers?
-
I thought that wasn't a real interview.

I agree. I had major doubts because I didn't want to be disappointed both for us, and him. I'm ecstatic he seems to be getting it right. And further delighted he's getting full praise for it - but even more - than the lousy turds of the rags and BBC and radio are having to put on hold all the joyous attacks on us and KK. Hopefully for GOOD. There'll STILL be petulant attacks, of course. There always will be. We aren't Man U or Liverpool or Arsenal - therefore shouldn't be doing well, say the media. Only a monumental IDIOT would want to start a pathetic witch-hunt and cause bad feeling when finally we all seem to be pulling together. That's not me you've quoted. About the "monumental IDIOT" comment, the same could be said about those fickle fans who had a go at Keegan during the run of games he had to contend with while not knowing what the players were capable of producing. Keegan had the same players who lost to Derby yet Keegan was a mistake because he couldn't guide them to beat Man U twice, Arsenal twice, Villa, Blackburn or Liverpool.
-
Keegan had to do trial and error because he came in during the season and hadn't worked with the players before, he could only watch players in training and then pick them with the hope that they would transfer that into the game. As for going 8 games without a win, he took over a losing team and had a nightmare set of games as a baptism, some couldn't see past that, others could.

Players leave clubs while under contract, I doubt that we'll try to keep him if he really wants to leave.
-
If N'Zogbia refuses to play for the club, he'll go.
-
We'll not be selling N'Zogbia because we want to, we'll be selling him because he wants to leave, it will be his choice.
-
Did the board try to appease disgruntled fans? Very few were wanting Keegan and I'm one of those who hadn't even thought of him as a possible new manager. If they were trying to do that then Shearer or a foreign manager would have got the job as that was what most people wanted or at least in the case of Shearer, it was what the media was saying we wanted.
-
It was probably because Duff and Smith came on.
-
I've had too much to drink to even think about doing that.
-
I'm surprised we haven't seen a few more people saying how wrong they were to question Keegan or wrong when calling for his head, I guess it didn't happen.

Allardyce has only one person to blame for what happened while he was here and he'll see that person the next time he looks in the mirror. He was given the most money he'd ever had in one transfer window and he used it to bring in his players. He couldn't get the best out of them because he tried to be something he isn't, clever. Allardyce had a team who were winning games until he decided that he'd piss about with selection and tactics, the players hadn't a clue what they were doing and we paid the price for that. Keegan has come in and worked with the same s**** players and he's turned them in to footballers, something Allardyce couldn't do. He was sacked because he was a s**** manager at this football club and I doubt we'd ever reached Europe with him in charge, if he'd stayed we'd have gone down this season because he would have lost the games which Keegan has won, he'd also have lost the games which we've lost since Keegan arrived. Give the fat b****** stick, he gave us enough s**** while becoming very rich.

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

I think if we win today and Fulham and Bolton lose were a win and a draw from mathematical safety regardless of goal difference. I think Bolton will lose at Villa but Fulham might beat the mackems, a draw would be a good result. -
Harper is a good keeper who doesn't let us down, it's his place to lose.
-
Wouldn't you?
-
You got that right.
