That's what the Sunday Sun article says. It's irrelevant whether it says we need to "sell to fund", because we don't know how much the cost of the striker and fullback would be. Cheap as cheesy chips as the Mackems would say as the agents cost more than the transfer fees according to Pardew . In the case of free transfers, I think that's pretty obvious. So you are saying that a transfer fee of say £4 million would have a lower agent fee ,ffs stop being a dick

Digging themselves deeper into debt then. You do realise 90% of that debt is to our owner? Anyway, if he rejected Udinese, he's going to reject us. Unless we offer him megabucks. Nice to see we're showing some ambition though. Coyle does seem to like Barca and Real fringe players. Good idea in theory as they dont normaly have duds

Imho he will get a bumper deal to play there all financed by a consortium

Ban please

But he might go to the Netherlands with the reserves

Visa problem, not injury. Yeah realised after the quote was translated

Sarcasm on my part. Here's a genuine go at it Alan Pardew has backed summer signing Yohan Cabaye to be a key man for Newcastle United this season - but he will have to wait a little longer to integrate the frenchman into his pre-season plans. The Chronicle can reveal today that Cabaye was not on board the magpies' flight to the united states yesterday and will play no part in the three-game tour of the US. a ??? problem with his visa application is believed to be the reason for his ? from the squad. But pardew is relieved about the ? said just it will ? with his plans this season. Pardew - who here ??? america - told the chronicle today from ... Kansas? "Yohan will ? to us - he'll add a pace and an intelligence to our game" he said. "The players have already seen that all three are good players. It's no good ? training ground. Your players like Fabricio Coloccini and Joey Barton ??? Premier League. You want to see those players performing in the Premier League at their very best. hopefully we see that from Yohan and the new boys this year." ok f*** this my eyes water. Yeah saved the image too and tried to zoom in and made it worse

I'm forseeing another season of going through periods of having to start players out of position or not having a senior defender/midfielder/striker on the bench. Sigh. It looks inevitable. Or another free signing turning up as cover for defence. Whats Ronnie Johnson doing these days?

Hit the nail on the head Sewelly and im being made out to be negative and getting digs in whenever i can according to others on here ,i will critise when i believe it is warranted and at this moment in time the soundbites from the club are not very positive with all this £35 million being eaten up in fees and s*** . and there is the problem, the perception that it's all gone when even the word from the club is that we still want to bring players in. Thats the feed from Douglas tbh and we have players we need to get rid of as we all know and that makes sense to stop paying wages to players who have no future here and i can live with that .
-
Seems so. Dont think Pardew would go on about him like he has if there weren't positive signs coming from the player himself Sounds like the agent being a cunt (whats new there ) but the article implies unless i read it wrong that there is still abit to go in that but depends on Erdinc really forcing his hand and ditching the agent .

Too much time on your hands or mental illness tbh

Atm only Raylor would go anywhere as Guthries fucked and Smiths tight as fuck

Although there is some money in the kitty for a striker Mike Ashley has told boss Alan Pardew that he must sell to fund further purchases. That has limited their ability to land one of three Continental targets being considered and the club now believe a season-long loan move with an option to buy built in might represent a more cash conscious solution to their striker search. Thats the bit that narks me tbh ,where the fuck has the rest of that money gone when we have practically spent nowt so far if what Mark Douglas is stating as fact and from a club sauce
-
That would fit perfectly. On the transfer merry-go-round, we get cash. Yeah more money in our war chest for agents fees
-
Just about Evertons budget tbh
-
If it wasn't obvious before, it should be now. NUFC = injury hotspot No but when they both come back its like 2 new signings we will get told
-
Not a very good image to set for our new players i must say
-
Yes and thats the crux of the matter a damn good front man or rely on Ba or another to fill in depending on formation ,my guess depending on the opposition one up front for away games and 2 @ home but all depends on the opposition as we have more flair in midfield hopefully for more goals.
-
Good points youve made and you have alot of experience going to away games ,i travelled extensivly in the 80's when hooliganism was more widespread but there was nothing ever really bad in my travels.I thought Toon fans were above that tbh and it sickens me to here this type of behavoir at Darlo and embarrassing for the majority of sensible fans who support there team and have a good day out ,a bad day for Newcastle United football club . p.s i would get pissed up but im not violent by nature
-
Pity Pardeau is selling him then
