    Dimitar Berbatov

    Yep random numbers
  3. Taarabt happy to join Newcastle as stepping stone to “very big” club Queen’s Park Rangers midfielder, Adel Taarabt has revealed that he would be happy to join Newcastle as he feels that he doesn’t need a very big club at this stage of his career. The player, who is intent on a move from the West London club as he feels they will be relegated after their first year if they don’t invest heavily in new players, and is also unhappy at the club not offering him an improved contract with promotion told The Mail on Sunday: “People say Newcastle will be good for me, that the fans love players like me. It is fantastic to play in front of 50,000 supporters every week.” Then, in an obvious attempt to ingratiate himself with Newcastle United supporters, he added: “I do not need one of the very big clubs at this stage of my career.” The player had previously stated that his ambition was to leave QPR for one of the very big clubs such as Chelsea or Arsenal, but now seems to be prepared to put these plans on hold, possibly due to lack of interest from the big guns. Now it seems that he sees Newcastle United as an ideal club to act as a ‘stepping stone’ on the way to him achieving his ultimate ambition. However, with prices like £10 million being bandied around for Taarabt, which would include up to 40% going to previous club, Tottenham, it is still highly doubtful that Newcastle United would be interested in a player who is relatively unproven at the highest level for that kind of sum. Meanwhile, things are still unclear on what will be happening with Wayne Routledge and his potentially permanent move in the opposite direction. Routledge, already on loan at Queen’s Park Rangers after being told he was surplus to requirements by current Newcastle United manager, Alan Pardew, is still currently in football limbo. Fuck off then
  4. He got that price from the article you quoted! Douglas stated that price but its not come from Chelski and thats why i questioned the fee tbh
  5. Newcastle have ended their interest in Wigan’s Charlie N’Zogbia while Chelsea’s £20million Dan Sturridge – although he has admirers at St James’ Park – is not a serious target. Now £10 million on Sturridge would be a great investment imho as the Ashley mandate is to buy and sell at a profit and could be worth £30 million at the end of next season if he keeps improving ,so worth a punt and i would be happy him wearing the no 9 shirt . So we should buy £20m rated Sturridge for £10m. Why didn't Ashley think of that? I think we should buy him for £2m. Imagine the sell on value then!!! £20 million rated i must have missed that sauce ? Err.... Shearergol said that price not me dear boy Have Chelski put a value on Sturridge in your knowledge or just speculating

Just doesnt fit in with what our owner sees as good business tbh but would be a good signing .
  7. What £35 million for a player with half a good season? Exactly. Its the same situation really, at least Liverpool can obviously afford it, we can't, this money goes and we've got nowt apart from what we make. Point 1 .Liverpool are in huge debt regardless of there spending . point 2.We can afford it from the Carroll money but not all on one player including his wages . Liverpool are gambling to get back where they once where and it may pay off but could blow up in there faces and i hope it does .
  8. If Jordan Henderson is worth £20m and Phil Jones is worth £18m then Sturridge must be worth thirty odd. He's a better player than Carroll for me and probably the player i'd most like us to sign this summer. I said as soon as the season ended that i would wish for Sturridge and Zog and both shot out the water if what the Sunday Sun is to be believed
  9. You have missed out "While Pardew keeps saying the £35 million will be reinvested from Carroll sale"
  10. Chelski go for the big transfer fee players regardless of ability imho and Sturridge may well be left on the bench or on loan .
  11. He wouldn't make their first team, and you wouldn't want an ego his size lurking in the wings, potentially causing trouble. He's got the ability to be a useful standby for a team of that standard, but not the mentality. Its there punt but imho he is good enough for them .
  12. Where is the Newcastle have ended their interest in Wigans Charlie NZogbia while Chelseas £20million Dan Sturridge although he has admirers at St James Park is not a serious target.
  13. Newcastle have ended their interest in Wigan’s Charlie N’Zogbia while Chelsea’s £20million Dan Sturridge – although he has admirers at St James’ Park – is not a serious target. Fuck me thats mental as Sturridge ticks all the boxes for me and if he keeps improving will be worth £30 million at the end of next season and that is what Cashley looks for .

  15. Wish him well on that .
  16. That comment basically shows how we see our ownership and our acceptence of it and its very sad really
  17. "Meanwhile, the much-improved Simpson has still not signed the five-year contract mentioned back in May. Pardew gave a ringing endorsement of the right-back to owner Mike Ashley – saying he believes the former Manchester United man can play for England. That was understood to have swayed the issue in Simpson’s favour. Will have to start defending before he plays for England tbh
  18. Or someone who has never been mentioned as going is Amoebi please

    Season Tickets

I have one freind who is keeping his ticket but refuses to go to the game and just gives it away every match but waiting for new ownership .
  20. Ashley's cutting costs. Does anyone really think the £35m for Carroll will be spent? Not on transfer fees but on wages as it looks right now and while we are on why do we buy so many players with injury problems atm
  21. I'm certainly expecting us to get more points on the board at home, like. Another striker and creative outlet like N'Zogbia, and we'll anihiliate most of the rubbish who came to SJP and took points off us last season. Very true and N'Zogbia would get me plus another top draw forward .
  22. Hope we are serious about Zog and not just paper talk and @ 9 million its good value imho as he is still young and knows the division and us well enough.
  23. He's not really a target man. Although I can see why you made that assumption upon seeing a big black striker, you knuckle-dragging neanderthal. We're going to end up with too many 'black style' players Who probably go to the African Nations cup in January
  24. Krul for me and he deserves the chance to make it his imho but Forster has pre season freindlies etc to show what he can do and an interesting battle for me ,Harper has had his time .
  25. Every time i see it i think it looks shit and it just doesnt grow on me tbh ,the 3rd strip looks like a training top imho and while im on how come the 2nd strip comes out last and no official club confirmation on how it will look .Our current publicity and marketing is piss poor and shameful really .
