That's exactly what SAF is NOT doing..He's resting players when they're up against the weakest teams..Eg. Rooney. The same principle has his trainee, Solskjær, done in Molde..And Solskjær is very good at displaying trust towards his players..When he's asked questions like "you're fielding a weakened team today" he's responding that he got full confidence in the replacements..They will do the job..That of course make the squad players buckle up and run like idiots..A couple of Molde's players have taken huge steps this seasons because Solskjær's approach..which he got from SAF. So your saying we have adequete replacements against the Wigans of this world when we could be possibly be in a relegation battle next season

It is really, I mean its 7 goals in 29 games, a pretty awful record. Shola could score 7 in 29, probably more. His goals to games ratio would say otherwise. Ameobi got 9 in 30 last season didn't he? Which is a better goals to games ratio. Regardless either of these two planks playing any predominant role in our season is fucking comical. It's not about them playing a PREDOMINANT role, it's about them filling in when we're up against inferior teams that we should be able to beat, even when resting one or two of our most valuable players. Play Ranger, play Best, play Vuckic - don't play this waste of space. He's fucking terrible man, see the Everton match last season for a perfect example of someone who should not be playing topflight football. Yeah, but did you see him against West Ham, Wigan, Birmingham and Wolves. He was excellent in them and it's precisely against those kinds of teams I want Loven to play..Not against Everton ffs..That's precisely my point..If we play Wolves home and then Everton away, we could rest Ba against Wolves and have him fresh and ready for Everton Pretty much lost for words

Calm down guys lets see what happens before the lynching

As i kid i used to knock about with ex toon player Steve Carney and tbh was a different person after he joined the club .

Not much on youtube to excite but a canny trick on Figo ,hopefully a good signing and a dutch international

Why 3 years is that some sort of plan ? We were told that the money was going to be re invested and uptil now practically nowt has been spent on incomings ,Pardew needs a damn good bollocking for coming out with that after Carrolls sale and he was promised that by Ashley at the time so someone is lying or both.
-
He is the only spokesman for the club atm and in the unenviable position of being the backtrack king ,but how many times are we going to get the "financial situation at this club" bollocks all the time,as everyone is saying its just the lies we keep getting told or is Pardew getting told one thing by fatty then something else another day
-
Cannot believe Pardew will begin dialogue like this with Joey next week or just a figure of speech “Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday me and Joey will have a couple of texts and we’ll take it from there.”
-
those quotes are taken from his talk sport interview where he also said there would be one price for him and one fee for anyone else wanting to buy the club, basically saying Ashley would not sell to him. Dont know about anyone else but hope it comes off but doubt it will ,Shepherd made big financial mistakes as we know but him and a proper board would hopefully run it correctly this time around and he would be reeled back in from Owenesque stupidity.

Not the clubs fault apparantlly the Ghana side was broken on this and dont know if the Toon hierachy should have noticed or not

12,000 people turning up today is evidence, if ever it were needed, that NUFC as a fanbase will never be able to stand up collectively, say 'no more' and boycott games to get rid of this lot. Too many people simply don't have the willpower to avoid going to the game, and I include myself in that. and thank god for that. You might think it's worth us plummeting down the table on the off chance Ashley would sell up but I think I''ll take things as they are if that's your alternative. How did you get any of that from what he said? Organised boycotts would make Newcastle football club a pretty unhappy place IMO, not just for fans but players and staff as well. If Ashley's investing too little now, he wouldn't put anything at all in if customers stopped turning up. I just think things could go downhill very quickly. The club appears to be a black hole of misery at present, both on and off the pitch. If we don't sign some good first team players and also lose our first 2 games it'll be even worse than now and that'll be nothing to do with the fans not going to matches. Couldnt agree more the writing is on the wall and it will take some hard work from the cunts in the next few weeks to get moral up again and that means atleast 3 quality signings i.e Forward ,right winger (if Barton has any future in whatever position ) and centre half if Colo is injured ,not even gonna get started on left back yet as thats up in the air atm.

Been a long time. I remember a couple from the early 90's. First was v Oxford that was called off at HT due to rain and an FA Cup tie v Bournemouth due to fog (I went to both) I can go further back to the late 70's and if my memory is right we were playing Wrexham on a wednesday night infront of about 3,000 fans in torrential rain and abandoned at half time with Terry Hibbit getting hypophermia
-
Yeah it meant Colo was going and needed to replace him

3 mile away and pissing down Kingston Park

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?

Weather might put alot of people off for this except familys as kids would gan ape shit if dad said "nee way am a gannin oot in that like "
-
How can it be curtains for Barton when the club need a taker for him or that would mean him sitting in the stands on a big wage ( not counting Smith as he is shit ).
-
Just about sums it up no replacement for Enrique but use Ferguson instead Digging a deeper hole week by week going into that difficult second season ,one or two players coming in and that Barton and Enrique very possibly need replacing too

£20 adults, £10 OAPs, £5 bairns (£25, £15 & £10 for bar areas). Combined adult/junior admission available for £20. Bit steep imho and finding information on The official site was impossible for me as i tried everything to get info

Recent managers, maybe not. But Ossie Ardiles (unwisely, as it turned out) staked his whole strategy on young players, many of whom (Watson, Clarkie, Elliott etc) went on to become key players for Keegan. To be fair Ossie didn't really have much choice. Ossie had little choice as i remember watching the Toon then and it was nearly a youth team week in week out with no money at all to spend .A normally run football club as in not taking wages and fees etc into account in the same financial situation as ourselves could or would reinvest that £35 million on transfer fees ,i am not saying spend it all just do it the normal way .

Love you long time

Journal this morning says he's out: "The midfielder has been withdrawn from tomorrow’s friendly against Fiorentina and trained with the development team yesterday but the change in tone from Newcastle’s furious reaction to his Elland Road Tweets was marked. And, while Pardew chose his words carefully, it is clear that his personal relationship with the midfielder is repairable." I don't assume everything will be fine at all. I know we need at least a couple of players, and I'm not 100% confident we'll get them. I do think we've been trying, but obviously we're making it hard for ourselves with our spending limits. [glow=red,2,300]I think our squad as a whole is not as bad as some people think though, that much is true[/glow]. Didn't think you were trying to be funny BTW, I just didn't know if I'd answered your question. Words fail me ,Colo gets injured we are fucked and you would say our front line is acceptable ,Who could come off the bench when we are chasing the game

Wonder if the pennies dropped yet with Pardew as he gets a right old shafting or are we talking a bit early about his frustration and the next few weeks will see a change by the board to curtail a mutiny by players, fans and the boss .Sorry guys for looking through rose tinted glasses but i really want to believe that a crisis doesnt exist and all this is a bad dream
