    Mark Hughes

I have a horrible feeling it will be Hughes or someone just as average.

    Mark Hughes

Aye the media scramble will start all over again with Hughes.

    Official Statement

Just wait for the media to start banging on about Hughes just like they did with Redknapp. I think Shearer will get the job.
  4. The same Shearer whos never managed before and Keegan who claims not to have watched a match since leaving man city? Lets Get Les Ferdinand, Rob Lee and John Beresford in on the act too!! I think he's imlpying they are average mate.
  5. TBF it's his choice if he constanly wants new jobs a different clubs. He's been a success at almost everyone of them and has probably had more experiances than any other footballer in the world. His brother is a greedy little bastard though.
  6. Looks sadly like it is redknapp. Notice they claimed we were in support of his appointment then panned to newcastle fans outside st james who just said "i supported allardyce and i wasn't happy with his appointment". SSN have gone down in my estimation. This is one of the worst appointments i've ever witnessed.
  7. If we get Redknapp i will cry.

    Rallying call

I say this all most everytime but this time it's going to to take some effort. Arry's an average manager, no two ways about it.
  9. if it means not getting redknapp i would take jol but that is desperation stuff.
  10. Me neither. If you had asked me before he'd been sacked whcich few managers will be linked with the job strongest i would have said Redknapp, Hughes and Pearce. TBH Noone knows anything, it's pure speculation.

    When ?

Between now and Man Utd we will be stongly linked with a foreign coach and that will be the one we will get but they won't be confirmed until mid next week. Is what i think.
  12. Does anyone believe that Ashley/Mort have not made a move on a manager, so little as an enquiry? This would in my mind rule any possibility of it being Redknapp because he says he hasn't had any contact. Hughes is a possibility but i can't see it.
  13. Wait, what? Referring to Ramos and his impact at Spurs. It's no surprise they are looking the part under Ramos. Ashley will have taken note. Yeah, I was well aware that you were referring to Ramos' arrival at Spurs, I just fail to see how he's been an 'instant success'. He's done a good job since taking over there, as long as you disregard the small matter of the organistion of defence at set pieces. Footballs all about opinion. In my opinion (as much as i hate to say it) i think Spurs are looking a class act under Ramos and will only improve. If you disagree, thats fair enough but i think it will have influenced Ashley. On the subject, Kemsley has almost confirmed that Ashley will have someone lined up.
  14. Wait, what? Referring to Ramos and his impact at Spurs. It's no surprise they are looking the part under Ramos. Ashley will have taken note.
  15. I'd also like to add that Ashley is mates with that Spurs big nob. He maybe influenced by the fact that he has just seen his mate pluck a foreign coach out of europe and gain instant sucess. Why would he choose Redknapp or Hughes if he's seen the benifit of a foreign manager.
  16. I think people are getting away from the point here aren't they. Do people not find it very strange about Sams departure. What reasons other than the fact we have a manager lined up could there be for Allardyce going. Surely Mort didn't just finish his dinner and decide " hmm i think i want a change". There must be circumstances thar led to him leaving (being ejected) and i hate to say it but Oliver's theory seems to be the most likely. I don't think for a second that any of the managers mentioned (hughes, redknapp etc) will get the job. I believe it will be an experianced, foreign coach such as Houllier, Jol, Klinsmann or even better Lippi or Mourinho. Just because i get the feeling that is the standard Ashley will set, as apposed to Mort. Just my feeling.

    Jose Mourinho

Anyone thinking that Mourinho will be our new manager needs to step back because it's highly unlikely. However those thinking "there's no fucking chance" or "where not big enough", are just as stupid. People like Mourinho would see a club like hours as a huge challenge and a way to show if you like. We have all the resources and all the (good as well as bad) pressures that come with the job. I'm not saying it will happen but dont be suprised if it's someone not far off Mourihnos standard. My first choice would be Lippi BTW.
  18. I'd be gutted if we got redknapp.
  19. I get a feeling Diarra might happen. We are starting to get the usual clues; Player wants out We confirm our interest Noone says its been rejected Wengers hinted at an exit in his programme Sam says he hopes to have someone in by the weekend I reckon if we put a solid bid in, he'd be ours. So long as other clubs dont get there first.
  20. Although i would prefer someone better.
  21. First time in a long while that i agree with Ne5. What we need is someone who makes things happen in midfield and gets stuck in, Nolan does both.
  22. They only signed him in the summer so theres every chance wenger will just cut his loses and make his money back on him. He's a good player and will be an excellent addition but we NEED someone more creative.
  23. Santini left because his wife was unwell. Perrin had a win ratio under 20%. Le Guen had Rangers' worst start in 30 years. Allardyce still has us higher than last year and in the cup. I think that's why the papers advocate patience. Because he deserves it more. hahahahaahahahaha!!! get to f***. Higher in the league than last year?? f****** brilliant, that. Well done Sam. £25m, 9 players in, and we're HOW MANY places better off? Allardyce is a f****** idiot, and the sooner he gets the bullet, the better. Comedy
  24. Might as well Given- 7 Some good saves Rozehnal-7 Impressive, out of postion, sure footed. Faye- 6 Seemed to tire but had a decent game. Taylor- 6.5 Worked his socks off and some good challenges. Enrique- 7.5 Why hasn't he being playing? Such a good footballer, good passing. Duff- 7 Looks alot better now than pre Allardyce. Butt-6 Failed to control the game, should have done better with shots. Smith-6 Same as above, almost pointless having him in midfield (cant fault effort). Zoggy- 7 Good first half, dipped in the second. Owen-7.5 Excellent link up play, good football. Viduka- 7.5 Same as above, should have caused more goal threat though.
  25. He looked more threatening than half of our players this season. Reminded me of Zoggy actually. I'd certainly reward him with a place on the bench for Man Utd.
