When Real signed Baptista AND Robinho a made a thread on here saying that we would definalty bid for Owen. I went on to say the reasons why we would get him. Still didn't believe it when we had actually bid for him though.

Sheppard will give Roeder the whole of next season as long as it looks like we are not going to get relegated. If Roeder fails to get us into Europe, or even if he does, he will apoint Alan Shearer as our new manager because by that time he will have his badges and had his "break".

Ironically i think Chelsea will win the champions league. It's almost as if they have more hunger and desire in that competition. I still believe Chelsea will do the treble but the will almost certainly miss out on the league now.

i didnt say that. a through ball meant for a certain player is a pass. a high ball from a crossing postion isnt. its like saying when the keeper kicks the ball upfield out his hands saying that is a pass when its clearly not I'm afraid it is. It might be a percentage pass, which is what you are refering to but that is still a pass. If the kick went to the opposition it would still be a pass. Any attempt to distribute the ball to another player is a pass.

Can't believe he ruled out selling Dyer. I'm glad however that he didn't rule out signing sidwell.

Triggy, by your logic a through ball would not count as a pass because the player would be playing the ball into an area for a player to run onto? As far as i'm concerned, a cross is a flighted pass.

If we got 6+ for Dyer i'd be over the moon. 6m would go a heluva long way to new valuable reinforcements. We could quite easily sign a good defnder for that.

Woodgate IMO is on par with the likes of Terry and Ferdinand. If they are world class then so is woodgate, if they are average then so is woodgate.

I would be over the moon with Distin and Sidwell, not just because i believe them to be decent players but also because of the fact it would be a bit of clever and wise movement in the transfer market. Something we have been lacking for some time. It's also because of this that i don't see it happening. P.S If Bramble signed for spurs i would jizz.
