I was negative about today until this morning, then I got a feeling... Then Brightons team sheet came out and my confidence grew.... Then we started unbelievably well. Should have been a few up.... When they got the 1 back I thought "here we go"... Then an odd calmness descended, despite the commentary wanting a Brighton equaliser, I never felt it was coming.... Then I didn't celebrate Wilsons goal because I was convinced he was offside... Then the elation of the 4th when it was all over... This club, these players and this manager....

Must say, I admire that Howe is his own man. The amount of times I'd have gone a different way and he's proved me wrong. Joelinton came back from his ban against Man Utd and left him on the bench. Howe has balls.

It won't happen this late on but I'm surprised we haven't seen this: Pope Schar Botman Burn Trippier Targett Bruno Willock Joelinton Isak Wilson This would allow us to play Isak and Wilson as a pair, would give us more defensive solidity, whilst also providing us width. It's more "negative" because we have one less attacker on the pitch but with Isak and Wilson, I'd wager we would find the net.

I'll be shocked if our game plan isn't to smash them out of the traps. We try and do that every time. He'll probably have a "second phase" plan.

He's a big lad too. Certainly won't be knocked off the ball easy.

Quality is certainly not the issue with Tierney like. I can understand the injury arguement but not the talent one.
