I have us and Chelsea on the same points going into the final game. Our good goal difference could be crucial. I'm perhaps being a little kind to Chelsea mind, since they couldn't beat SU yesterday.

We battered Everton at home, just didn't get the second goal. We didn't get battered for 60 minutes off Fulham, was about 30 minutes. We were the better side for the rest of the game. However, I actually agree. I would take a draw. Momentum is important.

I love Tripps but nowt worse than one player taking every set piece. Under SBR there was a fight between Robert, Solano, Shearer and even sometimes Gary Speed. From what I've seen Bruno and Murphy and Gordon have all taken as good a corners as Trippier.

Seen enough of MGW to know that he would be a perfect fit for us. I know he plays as 10 for Forest but his skill set means he could play as an 8 or wide. Forest being in financial difficulties makes it a much easier deal to do. Fits exactly what we look for.

Funny because yesterday the thought came into my head that he reminds me of Rooney. It goes without saying that he's not as good but very similar in style. Hes built like and Ox, protects the ball very well, has a great ability to wriggle out of tight spaces and reads the game superbly. I think he's lack of pace is overblown, he's got decent pace and a good engine. Once he realises that he has the ability to score loads of goals from midfield he will be a real asset. He should be slightly more selfish IMO.

The pass into Isak was brilliant. Defender did well.

No contradiction. His footballing ability is way more advanced than his footballing mentality. I can't prove it but I think he had a tough tackle and bottled it. Won't be the first.

Put it this way..... He will be twice as good as Murphy and Miggy. That's the only debate worth having.

I'm sure there was a twinge or whatever but some players lack bottle for the battle. I don't like Longstaff but in the same circumstances Longstaff stays on the pitch.

He's come on leaps and bounds mind. He's also not 100% up to full speed. What I love is while the likes of Longstaff plod around feeling sorry for themselves, this lad just grafts his way back in.

He was awful today but to his credit has far surpassed any expectations I ever had of him. Another player that I'd love a mid table PL club to come in and take off our hands. I could absolutely see him playing for a Wolves, Bournemouth, Fulham.... I won't slag him off though. Good lad is wor Jacob.
