I'd like to see an image of the turn from the gallowgate onto percy street, past the entrance to China town. Reckon it's carnage down there.

Whole place already looks rammed. I think it's will watch footage from today for the rest of my life. Such a watershed moment.

Live feed of SJP.

Oh its nailed on. That's actually a good point. I wonder if any mackems intend to try and disrupt things. Festering little rats are bound to have something.

It's on sky sports news, however i don't trust them not to interrupt coverage with some nonsense 3rd tier basketball news. It's on the clubs YouTube channel as a live feed though. The answer is to record SSN and watch the live feed.

This is Hall of fame.

For a fee the size of what it would take, a deal would take months to make. It's certainly not going happen over one summer window. Besides which, it's entirely up to us to explain the terms to Isak. I've no issue with Isak wanting to reach the very top of world football, but if that's the case, he's not going to find that at Arsenal or Liverpool. "Alex we respect your ambition and if Real, Barca, Bayern or PSG put the correct bid in for you NEXT summer, we will reluctantly let you leave. We won't sanction any domestic sale." It's that simple. Again, I've said before, he can go for 20m cheaper if he goes abroad. It's absolutely imperative we don't hand him to a rival.

Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays
STM replied to wor jackie's topic in Football
@Heron I had this idea. A massive flag of Dan Burn and the slogan reads, "It takes a giant, to wake a giant". If that's not A star work I don't know what is. -
I want us to sign Rigg but I couldn't give a fuck if he never played for us. I just think a 40m price tag is worth winding the mackems up.

Well if YAR needed a nudge on writing the cheque, I suspect holding silverware aloft at Wembley will have helped. I know why it's painfully slow, but fuck me hurry up. There's a fair chance that our chairman won't be in charge of the PIF by the time any stadium is built.

I think his ship sailed, sadly. He's a good player but I just don't think he's right for us. Mind you, under Howe, anybody is capable.

I think @Pancrate1892 has possibly missed the point here. It was Barton who brought up race not @gbandit, or at least the assumption is that Barton was referring to his own demographic. Under that assumption, Gbandit is absolutely correct. If Barton by saying "our" was talking about something else entirely, I'm sure Gbandit would be the first to say he misinterpreted it. I can also understand why it can annoy someone from the same demographic, as i am, that it daily sounds like we are the whipping boys (excuse the pun) because of what we hear every day in the media. It can be frustrating when as a fella, it feels like men are tarred with the same brush as someone like Barton, "It's terrible the way men treat women", for example. It's not men, it's scumbags, who happen to be men. So yes @Pancrate1892, I understand your frustration but people like Barton are the problem for our demographic because it automatically gives certain sections of the media a stick to beat us with. However, if we are honest, we'd rather have the minor problem of being tarred with a certain brush than let's say being at threat of being beaten or racially abused daily. You win some, you lose some.

Mitchell is the least inspiring player on that list but also would be a great free signing for us. There's going to be games when Hall needs a rest, or god forbid he gets a long term injury. Having a proper PL left back who is pretty much good in all aspects of being a left back, would be a major positive IMO. The best thing about free transfers is that they free up capital for other, more needed, areas of the pitch. Isn't KWP also out of contract? He can play RB and LB.

I've been actually reflecting on my life as a football fan and reminiscing about random things like when I used to get the bus home from college, buying the chronicle and seeing us linked to Scott Parker or whoever. I thought about being at SJP when we got beat on pens by Partizan Belegrade and how the life of a Newcastle fan became much worse thereafter. Or going to loads of away games and watching us get beat, City, Blackburn, Liverpool, Burnley, Villa. I wish I could go back and tell that lad about how I'd feel a week past Sunday. All those days of wondering if and when we'd finally have our day in the sun. Chatting on here about managers, signings, owners. Fucking Gabriel Obertan, Jack Colback, Fabrice Pancrate. Daft stuff like Charles Insomnia. It's like all of those memories are now boxed in a file in my head called "pre 2025".
