  1. Dubravka Livramento Krafth Burn Hall Longstaff Bruno Gordon Isak Barnes Wilson Let's fucking av em.
  2. Players from PL clubs: ESM, Zinchenko, Ramsdale, Ramsey, McTominay, Bowen, Paqueta, Madueke, Colwill, Solanke, Kelly, Cunha, Neto, Hee-Chan, Van Hecke, Joao Pedro, Ferguson, Tosin, Palhinha, Robinson, Eze, Anderson, Olise, Branthwaite, Onana, Toney, Mbuemo, MGW, Murillo, Trafford. A fair selection of players who might be on our radar. Some more realistic than others obviously and some more desirable than others. If I were to pick 3 which suit our transfer strategy and seem semi realistic: Morgan Gibbs-White Levi Colwill Dominic Solanke I can "see" these 3.
  3. Burnley is going to be annoyingly difficult.

    Callum Wilson

Don't fall into the trap of thinking he's going to stay fit for any period. The smart decision is to sell him. If he scores a few towards the end of the season his value should be decent. Even if Howe would like to keep him, the decision will be taken out of Howes hands. You can't turn down an offer for an injury prone 30+ year old..... provided the fee is half decent.

Gordon put it best when he said he's just realising that he belongs at this level. Sometimes young players let others do it for them, like they are part of a pecking order. He doesn't go missing at all mind. Just needs to be a bit more selfish around the box.
  6. It was a foul. Bigger travesty that the ref didn't spot it in real time. I've got US commentary and they spotted the push in real time. That tells you alot.
  7. Another indication that our scouts know their onions. I don't think it's a coincidence that we didn't end up signing Diaby, Ekitike, Digne and others when they were available. I'm not saying we weren't interested either, just that we got our valuations correct.
  8. Chelsea deserve that. Villa's early goal has confused themselves.
  9. He's levels above Longstaff.
  10. Was wondering if Newcastle could do a Cole Palmer typed steal on the young lad.

    Lewis Hall

He's someone who could really benefit from our European campaign. I'd also like to see him have a summer where he is worked really hard. He should start as many friendlies as possible. Want to see him back looking leaner and stronger.

He just adds so much balance. He plays like a normal left back, which is what we were missing with Burn. He just looks sharper than earlier on in the year. I love how much he wants the ball and how he finds little passes. He also looks like he has a goal in him. Definitely more to come though. A bit rough around the edges with regards to defending but that's normal. It at least means we have one competent option but I wouldn't be seeing him as ready to be first choice yet. A really good back up though.
  13. That Bailey is a special player. Could have gone either way too. Good management.
  14. And since I really don't want to spend my Saturday night on a sour note. I still love you Fab you sexy bastard.
  15. So Schar was being affected by injury. Fine. I apologise. I take it back. I was wrong to question his integrity. And the other games this year when he's under performed? It's happening more and more frequently. Go into next year without thinking about another in his position and we will suffer greatly.
  16. Just as odd as someone claiming the club would force Bruno to leave even if he didn't want to.
  17. Maybe you are right. Certainly could have been the case with Willock but Schar has had some really poor moments this season, the sort of moments that a lad from Blyth wouldn't get away with. I've previously said I think Schar is up there with our best ever CBs but he's no spring chicken.

    Alexander Isak

Reminds me of a young Jermaine Beckford. I honestly think he's that good.
  19. I did and perhaps I'm being harsh, fair cop, but after years of watching heartless players bottle games of football because it wasn't going well for them... Willock was having a shocking game, so did Schar. I won't be convinced injuries is a fair excuse. It might be a partial excuse but it let's both of them off the hook.
  20. Today was exactly the same as Luton, West Ham and others, the difference being that SU couldn't hit a barn door, meaning we were playing the second half at 1-1 rather than the uphill slog of a 3 goal deficit. We are insatiable in attack and poor in transition. We have been for ages and we all know why.

Surely the "wage drop" is just a reset of the original "wage rise" they got from finishing top 4 last season? Isak will stay, he will get a new contract and there will likely be a 120m release clause hoyed in.
  22. You just know that this Brentford won't turn up last game of the season.
  23. Actually just one.... and even then, I've got plenty of mitigation in there.
  24. Have a look at my post. Literally said the opposite. I've been saying the same for months. I also love the bloke. He's also got plenty to offer.
