The movement has been superb. Led by Rodgers and Madueke but Gordon, Rice and Kane too.

I think the issue is clear, he can drop deep when you have 2 other players who will make runs around him. England haven't had that until now. Balance looks decent... against a good side.

Gordon as been pretty good. Nice and busy. Struggled against the low block for a period but they all did. Notice hes effectively up front when in possession, Tino is doing the wide part.

And once again, England's hope comes off the back of a crop of young, fresh players. The same happened in early Southgate but he fucked it by being too loyal to those same players. Keep the side fresh at International level is the key.

This England side has alot of physicality. Amazing what can happen if you pick players who will work hard and battle. They arent letting Serbia breathe.

Every time I watch a Newcastle player play for their national side, they barely touch the ball.
