  1. I feel like we have found our feeder club. I want him in the first team next year. Even if he only gets a dozen appearances. Touch wood we get a couple of decent cup runs and he can get involved. We need him playing with Bruno.
  2. Joey Barton might be the biggest dickhead who I like. I mean, I know he's a wrong un but he's kinda mint. Also quite a decent manager.
  3. By great goal you mean gift.
  4. Chelsea new owner looks such a cunt, yet sooooo Chelsea.
  5. This is a hammer blow for Burnley.
  6. Tell you what mind, when you look at the inconsistencies in performance of sides like Villa, Southampton etc, you have to be confident going into next season. One thing about Howe is that he will have us pretty consistent next season.
  7. We will sign at least one "Bruno" signing, by that i mean someone better than we thought we would get. Most of our star signings will come from abroad.

    1-0 won't be enough IMO.

    Callum Wilson

Genuinely can't wait to see Calum and Bruno on the same pitch.

I'm surprised anyone cares if they go up. They aren't going to stay in league 1 forever. It might be an unpopular opinion but they are genuinely too big to be in league 1. The Championship will be very tough for them and will take them a few years to crack but they will reach the PL eventually too. By that time we will be miles away.
  11. Guys, if these lot are putting the graft in with the women's team, the training ground, getting contracts sorted, hiring Eddie's backroom team, imagine what work they are doing lining up potential transfers? Can't wait for our first signing. Which will come quick.
  12. I'd prefer City to win the league but I'd much prefer us to win and play a decisive part in where the title goes. A draw is do-able, with a touch of luck. Prevent a cricket score and let's go and beat Arsenal in what will be a cracker at SJP under the lights.
  13. On the other hand, he's well capable of putting a string of performances together where he's our best player, at which point his value would increase but its been what 4 months?, since we have seen that type of performance from him.
  14. Who knows, this little moment might be the making of him and I hope it is. With a bit of luck, Eddie refines him into the player we all know he can be but ASM must buy into it too. From a technical point of view, he needs to learn to run off the shoulder like Miggy did against Palace. If we can get him doing that he will be lethal, especially with Bruno behind him. He spends far too much time running down blind alleyways and moaning that he's got noone to pass to.
  15. Again, the guy is unplayable on his day but take someone like Kulusevski for example... doesn't have anywhere near the skills of ASM but he does have brains, heart and end product. Top clubs are looking for these players, or someone like Jota, who has the quality but also all the other stuff. ASM is either at the point in his career where he goes on to be an absolute world beater or he's already peaked, I suspect the latter.
  16. Everton would have been one, but they are skint. He couldn't play for Wolves and their defensive set up. Moyes wouldn't touch him. Certainly none of the top 5/6. Would Rodgers try and use him? Possibly. Villa, as I've mentioned. After that, you are talking about sides who we SHOULD consider inferior and that would kind of prove my point. If scouts do their homework properly, they will see red flags, right, left and centre.
  17. Out if interest, which clubs would be in that queue?
  18. Sounds like opinion rather than any inside knowledge though. Of course Shelvey will be gone in the next couple of years. Joelinton can easily play a part in our squad going forward.
  19. I don't know mind. He's the sort of player Gerrard or Lampard might fall for. I do like Maxi, if he's prepared to fight for his place in the team, like everyone else.
  20. Basically, you are saying if we weren't so shite he would have scored more goals? Hardly ground breaking stuff. He's the greatest PL striker and we should be proud of him. His opinions on Bruce and football in general are AIDS though.
  21. Averaged 20 goals a season for 10 years.... I mean TRon hasn't read the room.
  22. Pickford is Englands number 1. We need to put on our big boy pants. Personally think Eddie Howe would be the perfect manager for Pickford and I've no doubt that he's a class goalkeeper on his day. He would get booed by a few nuggets on his debut, then the fans would quickly get behind him. On the other hand, if he's not a significant upgrade on Dubravka, I'd question the worth of outlaying 20m on him or whatever. Seems to me that waiting another year and finding someone different would make more sense.
