I'm fairly sure he will be at the Jesmond Dene Hotel, it seemed like Staveleys preferred lodging. There is a good chance that Mehrdad and Staveley are there with him. I don't think our new owners have a permenant house up here yet.

I think it's more to do with options. Hayden hasn't the engine for Eddieball, Longstaff is making far too many misplaced passes and then there is Jeff Hendrick... At least with Willock we know he offers a threat, has a good engine and has room to improve.

Forget about it. We aren't even in that league right now and we might not literally be in it come June. We need to concentrate on ourselves. The big clubs at the top are always slitting each others throats. Every time one side wins the league 3 others sides are deemed to have failed and react accordingly. Man Utd are in turmoil. I can't see Fergie and Rangnick seeing eye to eye.

Don't think it ever looked likely to be honest.

Not Ralphy boy then....

Lucky I have him on the left.

Let's have a good showing. I know we NEED points but carrying over the good feeling into the next two home games is crucial. I reckon we will see 4411, and then perhaps another switch back against Norwich. I'd like to see: Dubz Manquillo Schar Lascelles Lewis (it will be Ritchie) Miggy Shelvey Willock ASM Joelinton Wilson

My guess would be that they are two of our oldest players. They may have a different schedule to the rest. No point in them doing loads of intense training, only to pull a muscle.

Great news for Micheal Carrick. I hope he goes down the student of the game route, rather than the PFM one. If I was Carrick, I'd be begging for the job until the summer. Would put him in a great place for a management job elsewhere.
-
He needs to change his hair, as I was constantly confusing him for ASM.

The last thing I want is Bruce getting the gig for 6 months. He comes in, gets a immediate lift, is credited for steadying the ship and gets a golden handshake. Err na. Media will be choking on his cock.
-
Never rated him. Would have preferred Woodman to have developed his game than let this chancer play. Dubravka is not just a good goalkeeper, he's a leader at the back. Which we sorely need.
-
We won't be one of the 3 worst teams in the league between now and May. The issue is whether we have dropped to many points for it to count. Fuck it. Have a right good go and back Eddie.
-
Fair play to @KaKalike. I never saw a performance like that in him. He was class. Jeez I wish he had goalscoring instinct.

I don't know if we will stay up but frankly it's secondary to having a functional club again. I absolute adored Eddie Ball today. We were a Joelinton slip away from a famous 4-3 win. Defence was shite but hey ho. Ratings: Darlow 4 Get in the bin. Schar 6 Good on the ball but leggy towards the end. Lascelles 5 Scored but marshalled a back line that was shocking Clark 5 Just not up to this level or this style frankly Murphy 6 Slow decision making but covered loads of ground. Would prefer manquillo Willock 6 I don't think he is built for passing and moving, was off the pace Shelvey 8 Was actually class. Grafted hard. Stayed professional and was pulling strings. Ritchie 7 Much better, helped by being able to get into crossing positions rather than sitting in defence ASM 8 Usual Wilson 7 Worked hard. Joelinton 8 Was class, needs new boots.

Chalk meet cheese.

He could have his money or his morals, he chose the former. I'm sure he has a big mansion where he can sit and watch the cricket in. Cunt.
-
Yeah I've just checked. SBR was sacked after away trip to Villa, lost 4-2. We had a cup game against Hapoel and then he was in the stands against Blackburn. Carver , I think was in the dugout and we won 3-0.
-
I believe his gardening leave was a home game, possibly against Blackburn at home, who he left. Then we went to Southampton, where Carr scored a blinder.
-
I agree he took a job he simply had to. He was also completely shit at that job. He was also a complete cunt to our fan base. He can be fired to space, if its feasible. Baldy little bastard.
-
Eddie is still on the blower. He's trained the team. He's picked the side. It's up to the players at this stage. It's unhelpful but hardly the end of the world.
-
Firstly, where can I watch the full thing? Also, hes picked out Shelvey and Joelinton, 2 players synonymous with the Brucey era. One lambasted for his laziness and the other for being an over priced flop. Why do you reckon he's done this? It's almost certainly because they are the two players who could benefit from a lift. Shelvey because he's a sulky bugger who needs constant prodding and Joelinton because he's clearly bereft of confidence. It's man management. I mean proper man management. It's ironic that they are the polar opposite of each other. Joelinton keeps his head down and works his socks off but has zero end product and Shelvey who has the heart of a pea but can put the ball on someone from 40 yards. If Eddie Howe can get Shelvey working and Joelinton using his brain, he will be a miracle worker.
