I've basically decided that if a takeover doesn't happen, I wont be following the club anymore, it's not my club, its Mike Ashley's club. Of course I will keep an eye on results but I wont be invested anymore and that's even if by some miracle they do keep Rafa. If a takeover happens, I will see you all then. This. I cannot comprehend how anyone can think he'd sell his only guaranteed profitable business in order to support a litany of failing ones. Where is his profit the club is 111 million pound in debt. He hasn't made one penny from running NUFC. Have a look at the accounts man and please show me where Mike Ashley has made a profit from the club since his initial investment. A close look at what he did at Rangers would probably give a better idea, but to say he hasn't made a penny out of owning us is just wrong. He hasnt made any money owning us. Not a chance.

Its definitely takeover or bust for me. Benitez staying with Ashley changes nothing for the direction of the club other than reapplying the plaster on the axe wound. Rafa staying with either owner or bust for me. The club will drop down the leagues like Sunderland otherwise. The takeover is the absolute most important thing by an absolute mile. We have had 12 years of the club being totally devoid of basic investment and improvement. No person manager or player is more important than the future of the club. How can you know that when you have absolutely no idea what the new owners will be like The man that can offer Newcastle the most guaranteed security for the future of this football club is Rafa Benitez. Nope you sure as hell will realise when Tim Sherwood is manager and we drop down to League 1 though. Rafa Benitez is not bigger than the club, however much I love him.
