Man Utd fans are allowing nostalgia to get in the way of common sense. There is zero evidence to suggest that Ole is an elite level manager and things are likely to get worse not better. The Man Utd I used to know, hate but ultimately respect would have gone after the best manager in the world, alongside the best players in the world. Best striker in the league? ...Andy Cole, signed him. Best young striker in the league?... Rooney, signed him. Best centre half, Rio Ferdinand, and so on. Man Utd the club have dropped their expectations and the fans are being tricked into thinking it's ok. Ok, I understand they aren't going to be poaching Pep or Klopp but have they even tried showing some ambition? They passed up the chance on Zidane or could have gone for Poch, both would have been sensible moves but no, they are sticking with good old Ole who is happy to be there and wont cause any problems for the owners. I mean, what happened to that club, they used to be such glorious cunts?

Lejeune should be back anytime now. It also might prevent fatty from cashing in on Schar.
-
Could be worse. Hes, at best, our 3rd best centre back.
-
As much as Richie shouldn't get back in the side, hes a good egg and a very useful utility player, it will be nice to get him back in the squad. There is no way he is taking Willems position but he will very useful from the bench. He would have been perfect for the last 20 minutes against Bournemouth at the weekend.

Fairly sure we wont go down, provided Bruce doesn't change formation or tactics. If the defenders stop scoring it could be 17th, if the 3 barn door amigos start scoring we could get as high as 8th. Fuck knows what will happen in January. We might sell Schar for 40m or we might sign a couple of decent players. We really are an enigma.

I'm surprised anyone thinks PEA is worse than Vardy. I must say it's a pointless discussion in my eyes as they are both excellent. Ones playing in a better side atm.
-
He’s a finisher, nowt more. Cant agree. You have just said you would prefer Vardy but Vardy is the very definition of "just a finisher", and since when is that a bad thing? Aubameyang is a world class striker playing in a pretty shite side. Create chances and he will score 25+ goals for you. When fixing this Arsenal side, Aubameyang and Lacazette are the last place to start. As you say, the first place to start is the board, then the manager, then some competent defenders. Signing David Luiz was literally the last player they needed. Great technical ability, bang average defender, with the game management of a frog. Leicester, on the other hand, signed Jonny Evans last year. Solid, dependable and experienced at this level.

Arsenal should go for Rodgers. He would do good things with Lacazette and Aubameyang.

Arguably our second choice central defence out there in the second half. Certainly helps that we dont need to rush back our two best, Schar and Lejeune.

It was a great move for their corner. Got to give them credit. -

Sign him now. Hes worth double the price we have agreed. -
Yeah, hes probably the worst footballer out of our centre backs. Maybe Dummett is worse, but it's close.
-
They are an odd side Bournemouth, very fluid and inventive but they just seem to switch off very quickly. Surprised they have had 3 clean sheets in a row.
-
Yedlin and Willems have been brilliant, Hayden has been very poor, Shelvey not much better. Again, the 3 barn door amigos preventing us from scoring goals.

Take her. My boy is asking me all the time and I've decided that if we get a home FA Cup draw I will take him. It's not his fault Ashley is a cunt and it's an investment in his future. Someday Ashley will be gone and I want my boy to love the club. It's also not fair to tell him why I wont take him. To young for politics.
-
Exactly. "But, but you almost said something nice about our set pieces, you Ashley sympathiser." As if it makes a fucking blind bit of difference..
-
I will take that as a win, ta.
-
Pot calling kettle. That's my point Neesy man. Theres no point coming on to a football forum and then claiming to care the least. Again, I've seen no proof of anyone changing their views on Ashley or Bruce.
-
Haven't heard anyone on here even remotely complimentary towards Bruce or Ashley. Virtue signalling. "I hate them more than you!" Well aren't you proper mint. You could argue, if one has given up on the club under Ashley, they wouldnt find themselves on a football forum but that would be being pedantic.

Finally got around to watching Sir Bobby's documentary. Hate this cunt even more now. He might not have been here when SBR got the sack, but he is the reason why cant get those joyful enthusiastic people at our club anymore. The day MA is gone, is the day I feel that warm fuzzy feeling about my club again. I will dig in, I will wait, I will out live this fat cunt anyway. It will be ours again. The dark cloud will lift.

Sorry, but you can’t blame anyone else for missing those howling sitters. You have to finish one on ones when you have that much time through on goal. Finishing was fucking shite and he will need to work on it. If he was a competent finisher he'd be playing for a top club tbh. Those one on ones are why he's here. Again hes 22 and as much as I hate this club at the moment, the whole "if he was good he would be playing elsewhere", arguement is tiresome. That suggests there are no good players outside of the top 4/6 or whatever. Besides which, if he adds goals and assists, people will start saying, "we wont hold onto him for long." This club is depressing AF. They are either shite or good but about be flogged. True mind.

I'd imagine from his 'highlight videos' online, as most show no end product after his many runs and tricks. Also, from his career statistics? They aren't that great in weaker leagues to be fair. Hes 22 for fuck sake. Most attacking players dont hit their peak until 25 at the earliest. What is with this fascination we have with trying to destroy players? ASM has transformed our attack with his pace, I dont need statistics to see that. With his growing confidence and influence on our side, goals and assists will come, Almiron too. Who would you rather in your side, someone like Richie who will definitely chip in with goals and assists but who will also slow the pace of our attacks right down. I'd rather take a chance with these two young lads, who might, not guaranteed but might, turn into top class players very soon. It's a no brainer in my eyes. On the other hand, Joelinton needs monitored closely, as we cant have a centre forward going for a dozen games with one goal, even if he too is raw. BTW, this post wasnt specifically aimed at Sean.

I'd like to add to that by saying that he's not as good as Messi either.

I think hes mint. His decision making on the ball is excellent. Would have had about 10 more assists/key passes had he had better players in front of him finishing things off.
