After everything that has gone on, they remind you why you fell in love with them. Hopefully we can get out of this window with some credibility and have a good year. -

Bless Alex Murphy. Hes clearly got something but this is about as hard a test as you can get. Would love to see him make it as Halls understudy. -

What was our RW doing in the box. -
If we want to improve the side instantly, just go and get Emi Martinez from Villa. It wont be the long term investments but it would be an upgrade on Pope.

There's alot of brinkmanship going on here. Absolutely no chance Wissa is a Brentford player next season. Hes gone full nuclear. I know its not what anyone wants to hear but its one that could go on for ages.
-
45m is spot on and id offer them a loan with an option at best.
-
Is there another Nicholas Jackson we haven't heard of? Off their tits man.
-
Some might have it as a controversial opinion but I honestly think Howe would make Jackson into a better forward than he is. As long as hes not Isaks replacement.
-
Can't believe how down beat Eddie looked. For a second I thought someone must have died, such was his body language. At this stage its a matter of days before he leaves the club, in fact, id have him on suicide watch.
-
NGL, id still love Paqueta.

Mitchell was right in saying it wasnt fit for purpose, however he was about to make it worse by telling us to go for poorer/cheaper players (i guess). There is nothing wrong with our identification of players, its the execution of transfer deals and the strategy behind them. Somewhere along the line, our approach has become sloppy or unprofessional or too damn slow. Again, Wissa is a great case in point. We may save ourselves 5m, but the strategy will have cost us other players of higher quality. Somewhere down the line, we might feel the benefit of saving 5m on Elanga or 5m on Wissa, fine..... but id say missing out on CL footy next season will cost us alot more. Where is the sense in that strategy?

When i think about this situation, I keep coming back to the same thought, which im sure im not alone in thinking... It's all well and good people saying "its ok, let's just reinvest in the squad", but as it stands weve got money to spend and dont have a fucking clue how to do it. The club aren't going to change strategy when selling Isak, it will be more of the same. The only difference is that we will need 5 players in four weeks, instead of 4. If you cant get Wissa and Trafford over the line, what chance have you got replacing Isak? None.

There's people on here who still believe Luke Edwards man. Of course they will fall for some foreign nonce.
-
Honestly if they snares MGW from under Spurs noses, that would cheer me right up. Forest might even do it just to be cunts to Spurs.
-
As usual, lots of talk and no action.
-
I think that's nonsense, at least from a strategic perspective. I think they may well require sign off on a transfer but only from a financial perspective. IMO the incompetence has come from a mixture of a few things, change in leadership, lack of leadership, poor DOF appointments, power struggles and of course a misunderstanding of PSR.
-
And FWIW i totally respect PIF having a hands off approach but in order to do that you have appoint someone at the very top who is king. Better a tyrant than a power vacuum.
-
This issue is that the club is nobody's baby right now. There's a clear lack of leadership.
-
There's been worse but in terms of expectations to execution, aye its been awful. Honestly this should be one of our most exciting seasons ever and tbh I dont even care right now.

Can someone change the title to include Luke Edwards.
