    England

Hall been England's best player without there being much to pick from.

    Sandro Tonali

Let's just try, just once, this front 6: Tonali Bruno Willock Joelinton Gordon Isak

    Sandro Tonali

Precisely and it seems to be Tonali dropping into Brunos role and Bruno playing where Willock was.

  8. Is it possible to buy that black Adidas coat Howe was wearing at the weekend?

    Alexander Isak

Get him tied down to a new deal and yes make him the top earner at the club. We can command whatever fee we want IF we decided to sell him.
  11. Man I love them players. All of them. Notice on Isaks goal when celebrating, Longstaff in the middle of the pack saying "win it", as in let's go win it. Class. Really worry about Sandro, does he ever smile.
  12. If we are in touching distance by the end of January (for 5th) we have every chance. I expect us to sign at least one player and getting Botman (and Lascelles) back will be huge. 7th and up is a good season but we know we are capable of 4th. Can't afford to lose any key players to injury for any length of time.
  13. A fucking Monday night. At least it's night, so we will have that extra boost.

    Marc Guehi

Got a sneaky feeling we might go back for Tapsoba (spelling).
  15. Yeah, one of the overriding thoughts I had was how well we managed to defend their counter attacks. I think maybe one sneaked through all game, where as we cut through them 3/4 times in the second half alone. It reminded me of earlier on in the year when we beat Wolves and Merson was in the studio saying that Wolves were unlucky and will have no problems.... they got their first win yesterday. Thick as pig shit.
  16. It's very rare that I think "we will still win this", but at half time I was convinced we would get back into it. You just can't play like that for 90 minutes. You could see it coming a mile off but commentary already had their narrative set. More fool them.

    Marc Guehi

It's important to recognise what difference we may have had on those players careers had they joined us. Sometimes, it's certain players, at certain clubs, at certain times. For example, if we do sign Guehi, there's a much better chance his career moves on to greater things. If he stays at Palace and they continue to have stinkers, he's going to suffer as a consequence. What's for sure is that Palace are in a much worse negotiating position now. I'm not so sure we will revisit it though.
  18. The narrative being pushed at 1-0 was ridiculous, as if we'd fallen into their cunning trap. What trap was that then? Gifting us all of the possession? Allowing us free reign of their penalty area? Playing for one set piece chance? It was clear we were going to get a goal if they kept allowing us time and space and once we got the equaliser, they had a big problem, the onus was back on them and they didn't have the stamina or technical answers. Once they they started coming forward, we just picked them off on the break. We could have had a couple more too. Forest optimised being in a false position in the league. They are a good side and will have a fine year but you can't live on counter attacks like that, without at some point trying to impose yourself on the game. I feel like every other side will now know how to deal with them just a little bit better. They've a few really nice players though. Murillo, I'd have in a heartbeat.

    Tino Livramento

What I love is that I never think he's getting done for pace or strength. I love what Trippier is capable of on the ball but he's nowhere near as reliable defensively. Tinos forward runs are first class, his engine is unbelievable and as above, if he can fine tune his delivery, he will be unstoppable. For me, just tell your front men what you are going to do. Let them know if you are going to put near post/back post/cut backs before the match, try and build an understanding. I think with his pace, he needs to drive to the by line and cut the ball back, if possible.

    Lewis Hall

He's so mature man. His face looks like he should be in grange hill but he plays like an absolute boss. You can see the confidence flowing through him.
  21. I'm proud that we've had 3 great English managers as part of our PL history but not in a bald headed, union flag, gammon typed way.

    Sandro Tonali

I think this spell of him being an impact player might do him some good. I still feel like he's growing into the league. I don't want anyone to get injured but... it might be a better way for him to get his place back. He's also looked so much better more central and slightly deeper.

    Dan Burn

Getting into the mind of Eddie, I think he will see Krafth as more trusted right now. Hey, look, I hope I'm wrong and either way, I like both players.

    Dan Burn

I imagine Krafth will come in.
