Colback is shit but this is a a load of bollocks. Colback and Hanley in particular would be good championship players for most sides. The problem is that they are on higher wages than they are worth. The players themselves are going to have to take a pay cut if they want first team football.

I think Rafa gets on with Charnley, it's Ashley behind the scenes who seems to be the problem. Hopefully some good results and some much needed clear the air talks can commence, in order to turn the tide. I can't see how Rafa can trust Ashley again, which makes going into any transfer window very difficult but there's always hope.

Well, Swansea have just got their 1st win so they'll be also confident of beating us. Oh absolutely but you would fancy Rafa out thinking Clement (who I like). With momentum on our side, we are a different animal. I haven't seen loads of Swansea tbf but they have lost their best player.

The best centre mid we have had since Cabaye, who I didn't rate THAT highly, in fact he's got everything to be better. The one thing I noticed, which i haven't seen mentioned, is his aerial ability. There were times when the centre backs didn't need to step forward to head the ball because Merino was doing that job for them. He returned the ball from goal kicks/long balls quite a few times. He must be a blessing for Clark and Lascelles.

The way Rafa sets us up suits away games and now the lads have a bit of confidence, I expect us to win. We won't be easy to beat and Shelvey shouldn't walk back into the side. Teach him the ultimate lesson.

Can't wait for the transfer window to shut and all of this turbulence to settle down. A few wins under our belt and everything will feel a little rosier.
