  1. Rafa won't, he's ultra cautious and will want to ease him in.
  2. Speaks incredibly well. Heard it on total sport. Of course Ando gave it his usual, "it was only one game and one pass... He's not premiership ready." These cunts would probably prefer Colback.
  3. TBH, he probably can't. Messi is 30 and still killing it. When would Neymar take over? He would never take over precisely because Messi is ten times the player that petulant crybaby will ever be anyway. No one is every going to take over from Messi unless he dies. Man is an alien. Exactly, why Neymar's move makes sense. In order to enhance his legacy and standing as an all time footballer, hes joining a club where he's going to play a handful of meaningful games a season? Not having that like. If he was joining Madrid or Man City/Utd perhaps. Sorry, but in the end in European football now, only winning the PL means something other than the Champions League. So yes, in order to enhance his legacy he wants to win the CL with PSG. Also, winning either the CL with PSG or the World Cup is going to make him the best in the world, so he has basically 'doubled' his chance of winning it. Winning the world cup or champions league isn't going to make him better than Messi. People will forget about Neymar now because we won't hear his name for weeks on end because there's no champions league football on. He's made a shocking decision, footballing wise, there's no two ways about it.

  5. Aye I feel so fucking sorry for you. #Championsleaguetears
  6. It's a balancing act. Sadly we don't know the ins and outs (excuse the pun). We don't know if x, y and z are close to leaving or not, therefore the club might be waiting for one to happen before moving on a target. I think the gamble is that we will shift these players in time to do our own business.
  7. Can't wait for competitive football on Friday (well semi, it's the mackems). Suppose I will have to watch Liverpool and Athletico knock it about.
  8. Big money is 40k in the championship. Someone like Villa should see him as smart business and not out of their budget. There is still time.
  9. Unless I'm wrong, there is no TV money until next year and sadly our support doesn't offer us anything in the way of financial leverage. Obviously the fat c*** could just show some balls and give Rafa 50m. He's a gambling man and it's a no brainer. I'm talking more about about the rich tapestry of potential to make this club something other than a black and white mackems basically which is what we have been under Ashley, only with one more relegation... Give Rafa 100m and we will become a top ten club and beyond this season. Don't and we risk losing that alone in income which is what happened last season. Its pathetic really. I get the stupid transfer fee figures at the moment, but we seemingly wont spend over 10m on a player. I'd rather have 3 top-class players than 8 average ones. Anyway its all moot because things will never change until the fat cunt sells up or dies, I'd prefer the latter like... Sorry HTT but where is the money coming from? Presumably you want Ashley to sell to a wealthy investor? Don't we all. Doesn't change the situation right now though.

Obviously the fat c*** could just show some balls and give Rafa 50m. He's a gambling man and it's a no brainer. 50m would probably make us a decently solid mid table team at least, for sure. Even if he loaned Rafas budget 50m this year and took 10m off for the next 5 years. It would make total sense to invest properly now. 10m would be nothing when we are getting 100m TV money every season.
  11. Yes and No. Cheers. Waiting on that striker signing... Perez is too soft. He gets bullied around by the most slight of players. He wasn't even very good in the first half, apart from one decent foray. Luckily, he's a decent finisher and has good ball control, it redeems him from time to time.

  13. I think we will end up somewhere between both situations. We will probably get a striker in and have a difficult season. Somewhere between 11th and 15th IMO.
  14. Krul will undoubtedly end up on loan somewhere again. We won't sell Darlow unless we sign/have a keeper lined up. Some shite French side will take Saivet, but we will have to be prepared to cut out losses.
  15. dat ambition. Doubt Rafa merely wants to 'stay up' this season. What we should do, is invest the f***ing necessary amount to make the squad fit for purpose. Which in my opinion, we haven't and we wont. I think Rafa and most fans would be happy with survival. I'm not sure. Not investing in the playing squad so that we end up finishing 15th-17th is a bit of a waste when Benitez is manager like. Cant see him sticking around longer if we struggle to survive and it's clearly down to the quality in the squad. Ashley isn't going to put in his own money.

  17. It's how low do we go? We could get rid tomorrow if we let them go for nothing.
  18. And... If he's mint, we will automatically have him next season, since he's not officially our player until next summer.
  19. Hanley will easily get a championship club, we are just waiting for our price.
  20. Jesus, Merino man. Can I say... I have never seen Jack Colback do that. Never. Ever. I quite like our squad. There aren't any stars, but plenty of good hungry players, eager to improve and most of all, listen. Manquillo looks to have decent technique. He probably just needs a bit of man management. Shelvey was boss again and had plenty of energy to spare. Good stuff.
  21. Things that stand out: Mitrovic's ball control is woeful, as his ability to know when to shoot. Atsu and Richie look sharp Shelvey running things from deep, it's clear he is going to be played as a holding midfielder. Wolfsburg are shite.
  22. You have Diame twice Rich. Edit: Quick edit, Bravo.
