Have no time for abuse towards current players but he's one of those players who makes us into a team of 10 when he plays. Yes he runs about, but it's senseless, aimed in no particular direction and totally out of step with the rest of the team. His passing is basic and totally cowardly. Then there are his fouls, did someone actually tell him that it's his responsibility to use yellow cards as a lifeline? It's not a, "I've got one more foul to take," thing, he actually puts the team in jeapordy. He spends 80 minutes on a yellow card and the tugs someone's shirt on the edge of our own box. The camera pans to a red-faced Jack, with his head dropped over in shame and the commentator refers to him as "tireless" or "tenacious". The amount of time I've found myself shouting at the tv over this waster. Everyone else in the squad has a use of sorts. Not him. Thanks for that goal at Anfield, which didnt keep us up anyway... good riddance.

It's dead simple, make clubs use a certain percentage of the tv revenue towards lowering season ticket prices or investing in grass roots/academy football. This way, good comes out of the tv money instead of lining agents and footballers pockets. I don't mind them being rich but they don't need to be any richer.

Fully expect some soothing words from Rafa. This is what he does, cranks the pressure up on the board and then gets the fans on his side. It will all be fine.

Wage bill has to be the issue, (other than Ashley being a cunt cut in general). It can't help having Haidara, Krul (fair wedge), Lazaar, Riviere and probably a couple more on first team wages, who have no future at the club. Most people would take the small gamble that we are likely to get shot of most of them before the end of the month, so we are ok to go out and sign players but not our lot.

I don't think Spurs will be ready or at least not at their full powers.
