  1. Depends if the players have been affected by negative press.

It's the same all over the park. Hart, Jones, Cahill. Play some fucking different players Gareth man. Cahill started nigh on every match in the team that won the title tbf. Hart, definitely. Jones, probably. In a side that played 3 at the back and its hardly progressive. Although, I take your point. England should be too imo. Agree.

Henderson is shit. At this level and the level England and Liverpool hope to aspire. Of course he would walk into our side.

How is Phil Jones anywhere near an England side? Shouldn't it be Maguire or whoever?

When you see Henderson captain, it tells you all you need to know about the direction in which England are heading.

Overrated players being managed by a poor championship manager.
  11. I dont see Shelvey playing number 10, especially since Perez had a decent gane vs West Ham. Shelvey will start from the bench in my opinion. A perfect opportunity to teach him a lesson. He will be back starting before long.
  12. I've said it before and I'll say it again, crowd fund a hit on him. Just to shit him up a bit. Then give the money to charity... or signing a new player... or whatever. We could probably sign 3 players with the money come to think of it.
  13. The fact he hasn't already quit tells me he will almost certainly stay until the summer. I don't think he will leave us for a West Ham.
  14. We can't even pull off free transfers, what part of FREE do they not understand.
  15. He doesn't half accidentally find the net alot.
  16. It's a fair point about whether our NET spend has an affect on what's viewed as a successful window. Had we spent 15m each, say, on Lejeune and Merino it would make our transfer window as a bigger success IMO. How much we pay on fees, in comparison to our rivals, basically is a sign of our ambition and such things matter in the football world. Whether we are willing to pay to the going rate on wages and transfers, goes along with players and agents. If it's clear that we are only looking for a bargain or a release clause, how are we ever going to get the players we want? I wouldn't be surprised if some agents flat out refuse to deal with us because of the tight arse nature of our chiefs. If we are willing to pay the price for players, it would be a start and I'd be willing to give them the benefit of doubt over the amount of players we get through the door (quality over quantity and all that), but it's clear that neither quality nor quantity matter. We will do the bare minimum to survive and only start acting seriously once things have gone wrong.
  17. Must be a cockney thing to be a complete wanker.
  18. I thought Mike Ashley was great when he took over but then again, I didn't have a clue what he was about. I let him away with two or three poor decisions, before realising he wasn't going to change.
  19. We did good things but even in signing Lejeune it was because he had a release clause. Had he not had a clause, no way would we have paid what he's worth. Merino is an excellent signing but we couldn't even afford to stump up 6m or whatever this summer. It's all very embarrassing.
  20. I refer you to my previous answer [emoji854] I've seen it, it's utter bollocks. I can't believe anyone would try and claim they were ahead of the curve and cite Keegan resigning as the moment. 'I knew that Al Qaeda were trouble, I tried to tell you all!' 'When did you realise?' '9/11' The little waster is a football Oracle.
  21. D- perhaps. Or U, for not even showing up.
  22. Rafa is a world class manager whom we all want to keep, apart from you. For someone who goes to alot of games, you seem to know fuck all about football. World class? Makes you wonder why he's letting that cunt walk all over him. I admit I'm not a rabbit in the headlights when I think of Rafa managing NUFC. I think a chimp could have got that team promoted last season. Funnily enough, I don't think many managers would have got us promoted last year but there you go. So if Rafa walks you call him a bottler or whatever, he stays and he's a coward. IMO, he's doing exactly the right thing. Not being afraid to call out the owner on his bullshit but also not abandoning the club and its fans. Thankfully, there aren't too many Newcastle fans with your views and I don't see them increasing.
