I'm so un-interested in the Carroll saga. I'm not bothered about the outcome either way. I'm not particularly worried if we don't sign a striker/Carroll and i won't be disappointed or elated if we sign him. If we do re-sign him, i will get right behind him and hope can fire a few in for us this year.

Perhaps the players they have had in the past are better than what we have but I'm not sure I would swap starting 11s with either of them. Its because they are selling their best players that we are catching them up, as well as keeping our own.

I said when we signed Curtis Good that we were done with centre halves. We are gambling on Colo, Taylor, Willo, Perch etc to do the job until January at least. Like someone said above, we will be back in for Carroll.

Pfft, never had any real desire to sign this guy once he showed his attitude by returning to training over-weight. I have no bad blood for Fulham, hope he turns out well for them, if they sign him. Shearer was still a great penalty taker. I've never felt so confident in someone scoring, when he stepped up. Of course he missed a few but very few. He always smashed his too, which is class.
