Its the way we played. It's been a very long time since we have played football like that. Ben Arfa is unreal. I was sat watching in the pub with my mates and I said 'the only person I have seen dribble like that is', I then stopped because I didn't want people to know who I was going to compare him to.

I was delighted by Cabayes performance, was starting to worry about him because he was going missing. However, we put him in an advanced role and he really benefited from it.

Liverpool will still be favourites for this IMO, because Colo is out. Let's not forget how dangerous they are. Its one of those games where we need to make them so uncomfortable, build upon that fact they are low on confidence and out of form anyway. We really go at them and do all the basics defensively and we could coome away from this with a really good win. Our front 3 could cause them all kinds of problems.

The idea of hoofball is nonsense anyway. Both Keegans and SBR sides used to play long balls out of the defence, the difference is that they had the players cope with that system and the variety to play a different way if needs be. There's nothing wrong with the odd percentage ball up the front men, its the inability to change things round that have cost us so dear.
