Like Wullie says, its not about pretty football. There's only one team in the league who play pretty football and make a success of it, Spurs. Swansea are in the bottom half and some people go on as if they are Barca. Man city have been involved in some of the most boring games this season and Arsenal have been poor compared to their sides of the past. What should be asked for is positive football, Pardew got it half right at the start of the season with the pressing he employed. There's something wrong with the link between our midfield and attack. I'm still undecided on whether it is Pardews tactics or an underperforming group of players.

Its all about perspective. Why do I have to be in the 'Pardew out' camp or the 'blind to the truth' camp? I know noone is directly saying this on this forum but there seems to be an underlying subconcious pressure that u must have one opinion or the other. My view is that Pardew has done a very good job but I do have concerns over some of the recent performance but not enough to question his position as manager.

I had him on par with Taylor last year, how wrong I was. I'm not quite sure how I ever didn't see his major flaws. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a decent back up centre half but he's just not cut out for being in our first team. What Pardew does in the summer regarding who plays alongside Colo will be key. Williamson should not get a look in.

I'd like to see how we would play with some better quality in defence. I'm not ready to jump on Pardews back yet. Williamson becomes worse by the game, even his headers are directed straight toward the opposition. Simpson whilst steady enough in defence, just isn't good enough in the opposition half. Santon is also very raw. We looked a much better side with Taylor and Colo playing centre half. Hopefully in the summer we will invest in some quality in our back four.

Much better from us. Arsenal have only created one real chance other than the goal. We have looked dangerous. Cabaye has been missing but he is playing deeper than Tiote. Obertan has been more of the same. I'd like to see someone replace Obertan half way through this half.

Its the same everytime. We get nervous, they get cocky about the derby. I suspectn once again their mutant players will come out and drop their arses. The only thing they have going for them is probability, sometime they have to win one.

I used to hate Parker, but he developed his game somewhat. As for Gerrard, he's never turned up at international level. I think a Parker- Wilshere combo would complement each other well.
