I've always had him down as a bit of a nugget. He doesn't offer enough to be demanding things, he should sign or go. He's easily replaceable IMO.
-
So whats the latest on this? He may/may not be coming for a medical on tuesday? Certainly been rumoured for ages that the deal was all but done.
-
This, people keep talking as if he has ability, but he has never shown any ability in his entire career so far. He's a lost cause. Yes but i have a little bit of hope for him, you have none whatsoever.
-
A shit Mourinho. Where as Mourinho probably doesn't believe his own shite but merely uses his persona to motivate the players and the fans, it seems AVB probably does believe he is the special one.

Realistically this would be Pardew's preffered line up (until Ben Arfa finds some some form). Krul Simpson Taylor Colo Raylor Cabaye Tiote Obertan Jonas Ba Best/Maiga Santon and Ben Arfa need to prove they are worthy of finding a place in this team.... and yes Ryan Taylor is shit.
-
It can't be underestimated the effect that having two "big" players like Colo and Tiote will do for the side, not merely in the technical side of things but just as a general shot in the arm to the other players.

There's always one. 3 centre halves for fucks sake.
-
The earliest we'll have anyone back is 30 Jan (Senegal's last game is on the 29th). Aye but they don't leave until mid-January correct? It's not like they fuck off on the 1st of January.

We have so many African's leaving us the chances are that we will have one or two of them back after the group stage.

I think: Krul Simpson Perch Coloccini Raylor Tiote Cabaye Obertan Jonas Shola Ba -
I'd like to see us get Onuoha on a virtual free from Man City. Lets face it, they hardly are going to play hardball when it come to transfer fees with their 4th choice players. Ask them for a loan deal until the end of the season, with a view to a long term in the summer. I'm pretty certain we will flog Simpson in the next six months, this guy would be a good upgrade and a one who can do a good job at centre half at that.
-
I'm not really sure he does have the ability TBH, i think he is just quick and with his pace he finds himself passing players with the ball. It's just bad fortune that someone like Guthrie couldn't have been blessed with his pace and energy.
-
Perhaps Pardew wants a flexible and more versatile squad that he can move about and rotate for specific matches, as well as cover injuries. Na he must be thinking about selling Ben Arfa or summat...
-
Love the guy. Still got some hard times ahead but i feel it will be the owners who get the backlash from the fans, not Pards. I expect Tiote/Colo to leave soon, huge test for the club.
-
Krul Simmo Perch Colo Raylor Gosling Cabaye Obertan Jonas HBA Ba Is what i think now.
-
The injuries to Colo and Taylor stopped any chance of Raylor coming out of the defence. I reckon: Krul Santon Simmo Perch Raylor Cabaye Guthrie Obertan Jonas Shola Ba

Got a feeling he will be literally one of the best keepers in the world in a few years. It still early days but i've yet to see a significant fault. If he has to leave, i'd prefer it to be a big club abroad but most of them have first choice keepers. 20m minimum.
-
Pardew is going to do well to get anything out of him, he looks a real mystery. I times his pace and trickery is frightning and he has produced two great crosses this year (stoke and forest). However, most of the time his first touch and decision making is horrible.
-
So Lee Ryder is just watching goals on sunday, then tweeting it. What a penis. Gutted about Taylor, along with Colo, Krul and Ba he's been one of our best this year.
-
Howay man, no need for that scouse schmaltz. What on earth is scouse schmaltz?
-
Should be good this. Always feel good about the club when Pards talks, we always learn something new about the squad.
-
I've always found Alan Smith repulsive, his commentary was clearly biased towards Chelsea. Yes Chelsea were the better team but the way he talked was if we were mauled all game. Mind you, makes a change from Davey fucking Provan.

Will partner Speed in midfield in Sir Bobby's heaven eleven.

It's a non-issue for me, i don't see the confusion. Ben Arfa is struggling to get any sort of momentum back in his game, probably for a mixture of three reasons. Firstly, although it's hard to tell he's probably not fully fit, however it shouldn't be an excuse on it's own because alot of players can come straight back onto form but you can't ignore the fact that he has been out for a year and still only started a handful of games. He needs time and alot of it before he will get anywhere near his top form. Secondly, he's lacking confidence. Anybody who's played any sort of sport/game well will tell you that after a period out you just struggle to reach the same heights. Not always through fitness but also through mental rustyness. The guy needs to start thinking like he used before he will start playing like he used to. He needs to rediscover that "eye of the tiger". Lastly and most importantly, in order to overcome my first two points, he needs to get more time on the ball. He's not getting it enough at the moment, therefore when he does get the ball he is rushing himself. Perhaps he needs some time on wing, where he can run at a player without the same risk of losing the ball in a vital area. Right now he's receiving the ball in horrible positions, with his back to goal or from knock downs, hardly ideal.

We need to make January quickly and get some cover in.
