I would be over the moon with Distin and Sidwell, not just because i believe them to be decent players but also because of the fact it would be a bit of clever and wise movement in the transfer market. I'm glad Owen is returning because it will relieve some of the pressure off his shoulders. This might make him relax and enjoy his game more. If Oba ended up with 12 next season and Owen with 20+ i would not be upset, so long as oba gives enough to the team play.

Yes but look at it form the clubs point of view. We were never going to get rid of Dyer whilst he was injured, so the best we could do was help him back to full fitness before getting rid. He may well be being un greatful but it's no skin off our noses, someone else can have his problems.

The speed of a team comes down to intelligence, passing and movement into space, both N'Zogbia and Dyer are players who i would not consider first teamers on merit, therefore it would not effect the pace of the first team. Btw, Owen and Martins aren't particularly slow.

He's a good player, no more no less. As far as i'm concerned if we were offered 6m+ for him he can go, as he can be replaced. I still believe it to be a matter of time before he gets injured and he 27 now so he's not going to improve. The worst thing about Dyer is the fact that it will be impossible to replace him....... only because i have no idea whatsoever of the position he's meant to play in.

I believe that Parker is being utilised in the wrong way. If Roeder played him as a defensive midfielder as Souness did he may give us better performances. However Butt has been fantastic whatever the stats say.

Drogba was quiet because he was feeding off scraps tbh. The reason for that was because of chelseas poor midfield performance and the reason for that was because of our fantastic midfield perforamance.

I don't think he would have that much affection for Bolton tbh, he's a scouser lad. If we put the money on the table bolton wouldn't have much choice. Cahill i hate and would be very hard to prise away from Scouse blue.

Erikkson is good manager and would get a better overall performance out of our players therefore a better league position. He's not as good as the likes of Mourinho, wenger and fergi but probably in the same bracket as O'Neil.
