Would be nice for this one to go through because not only will he, almost certainly, not play against Reading but he's also cup tied which means he'd be in line for a start against...... West Brom.
-
As a newcastle fan you get prepared for hiccups and disappointments. There's no denying that he's odds on to join us now though.
-
It seems to be popular for footballers to hand in transfer requests when they find out a club is interested, as apposed to being unsettled in general. I hope this ties in with the reports that we had made our "final" bid for him.
-
Not over yet. Fulham have their tails up.
-
It's not a fake either.

His contact list is a bit useless. The following players you don't need any special contact list Mark Schwarzer Stephen Kelly John Pantsil Seol Ki-Hyeon Andrew Johnson Zoltán Gera David Stockdale Andranik Teymourian Damien Duff Pascal Zuberbühler Dickson Etuhu Jonathan Greening (on loan from West Bromwich Albion) Bobby Zamora The following players you need more extensive scouting - but only Hangeland is a success, maybe Nevland Brede Hangeland (vice-captain) Erik Nevland Bjørn Helge Riise Fredrik Stoor Toni Kallio Kagisho Dikgacoi David Elm I'd point more toward what he's done with those players.

If Burnley stay up this season, perhaps they would be able to afford an Anelka ? Facilities yes - but hardly a deciding factor ? Depends who you are, if i was coach it might be a deciding factor. Burnley will struggle to find 8-10m for one player, especially when you consider Everton struggle to.
-
Good shout for the summer, questionable fitness record though.
-
As i've said many times Danny Murphy (in the summer). January provides very few options, someone like Pedro Mendes perhaps or a good youngster.
-
Me too, would do wonders here too with our small budget. He has a really long contact list across Europe. As well as experiance, respect and a whole host of other attributes that make him a top coach and a likeable bloke.
-
Would still love to have Hodgson as our boss.
-
Yes, Bolton will at least have the odd splash on an Anelka or an Elmander, Burnley never will. Bolton have more fans and better players too but they are a worse team, at the moment. The difference between the sides is marginal but there are other things to take into account, such as facilities.

Chance after chance for Stoke.
-
Murphy is a player i want us to sign in the summer but he's having an awful game. P.S Duff is still shite, just playing in a good team.
-
Cheeky loan bid for McCarthy, he's over the hill but he's a marked upgrade on Harewood.
-
I think it will be back to old ways for Hughton with one up front; Harper Simpson Taylor Coloccini Enrique Butt Smith Guthrie Jonas Nolan Ameobi/Carroll Would be very suprised/happy if a) Butt doesn't start and b) we play two up front
-
The way Ashley works it wouldn't suprise me if we needed to sell him in order to raise funds for a new signing, whether we got a transfer fee or not his wages will save the club a bit of money in that department. You are probably looking at 200k a month for someone who never played. Over the next six months that would have cost us close to 1m. Astonishing that money can be spent in this way.

Good passing according to these farmers.
-
Devon commentary is hilarious. Sounds like it's being played on a farm.
-
Krul Raylor Simpson Kadar Tozer Butt Guthrie Pancrate Lua Lua Shola Ranger I think he will play Simpson centre half and rest Colo and Taylor.
-
He is a player i think Hughton would try and sign, however there are alot of reasons why it won't happen.
-
Bloody decent line up from hughton. Few positive changes, shocked that ameobi has been left out.
-
Don't think Butt was that bad the other day but i still wouldn't play him over a host of other players.
-
If Carroll and Shola have a good game today, it could shape the rest of our season. I don't think any defence in the league will have an easy day against those two, ironically i don't believe either are good enough for the league above.
