Obviously, i hoping that we will sign someone very soon. So that they are availible after the brum game. However, we have a checkered past to say the least so i wnt for very little. The point is that none of us know but it's interesting to see how much faith we have in the people at the club. Most have roeders transfers have worked out, so i'm hoping for more of the same.

Good post. I think its fair to point out that what people are comlimenting is the raw talent of such young players. There may be alot of tuning need done but the lads have shown more commitment and talent than Carr, Babayaro and Bramble have done for at least 2 seasons.

There's no problem with our wide players, we hav a nice mix of youth and experiance. We have alot of talent in the central area, just no balance whatsoever. Emre and Parker don't know what type of midfielders they are and because of this don't support or defend well enough. I'd rather play Butt and Dyer just because they know their roles naturally. Roeder has two options looking at next season: 1. Sign a permenent attacking and defending midfielder. 2. Work on Emre and Parker and really drill their roles into them so they both know what they are doing. I'd rather we saved the money and tried to work with what we have. However, should someone like Barton come availible i would gamble.

Given 7 Saves were fantastic, kicking was average. Solano 7 Can't remember him being skined by ronaldo on too many occasions and a couple of composed headers Taylor 8 Considering he was up against rooney and giggs he looked very good. Saha is average. Huntington 7 Hard to do anything but compliment the lad. Couple of good headers but a couple of misplace passes. Edgar 7 Never looked out of place, against league leaders lets not forget. Dyer 7 Everytime he's on the ball he runs forward. Key to our season. Emre 6 Didn't do a great deal during the game. Him and fletcher canceled each other out. Parker 6 The only job he had was to stop scholes. However, did work hard enough. Milner 8 Goal and assist. Good game Sibierski 9 Won EVERY header. Martins 7 Gave the ball away four times in a row but also showed some good control and link up play.

From telly it might have sounded a bit different TBH. When they went ahead not suprisingly the crowd went a little quiter and pissed off but afer 5-10 mins we got back behind them. In fact if anything we contributed to getting the equaliser.

Ramage, Taylor and Hunty are embarrasing titus bramble right now. It would suprise me Roeder didn't renew his contract because i always thought glenn was a big fan of him. Hopefully we can get som sort of fee for him but him being noy being at the club will save us money in different ways. Would like to see moores renewed though.

I wasn't impressed by our Watford performance last week but i feel we are a poorer side against teams that battle like Everton, Bolton, Reading, Sheff U or Watford. Depending on whether Spurs can show some grit against us, will determin which way the game will go. If our top players Like Martins, Dyer and Emre click then Spurs may struggle at SJP. Their main threat is Berbatov by a mile, if we get Taylor on him we could and should win. Apart from Citeh last week Spurs have been poor on the road but are playing pretty well. I'm not sure we would have a choice if someone made an offer of £5.5m - Its a clause in his contract. However I'd hope he would turn down a move considering we've been loyal to him and are not safe from the drop. If the clause stuff is true, then i'd be rather worried but i would have thought a club would have came in last summer had that been the case. For 5.5m he would have been a bargain. He'd be worth 7m plus i think, it would be stupid for our club to risk that sort of money on a 29 year old. It's for that reason why don't think he will end up in the prem either. He's got italy written all over him.
