Players. But don't they vote at a daft time in the year? Can't remember how it works. There will be a lot of centre halves who will vote for Carroll mind.
-
Hughton would have made Poulsen look a far better player than he has done at Liverpool. He joined that club at the worst time. Still not a patch on Tiote mind.
-
How many goals will Carroll have to score before they have no choice but to give him the young player award? In fact, who votes? the players?

There's footballing gossip and then there are strong rumours. It has been said on many occasions about Taylor's supposed arrogance around the club, over belief in his own ability and self importance to the team. Add this to the amount of times we have heard quotes attributed to him and his father abour his contract(s), as well as other incidents (including Carroll gate and his recent contract wrangle) and it all doesn't make good reading for Steven Taylor.
-
...and for over 30 million
-
He'd be closer to his Sky pals anarl.
-
Don't see Carroll leaving atm. Maybe in a couple of years time when Ashley has interest from buyers but even then if might count against him. Great player in the making like, i have high hopes for Ranger too. Beasts the both of them.
-
If West Ham decide to sack Avram Grant i could see fat Sam heading down there.
-
If we get 2m in January i will considered it something gained, out of a horrible situation. Taylor's an average defender with a suspect attitude and certainly not worth an improved contract.
-
It's the negativity that he spouts that will bring us down; "We need to be able to attack in the games when we don't have the ball." Let that be your first team talk Alan. "I'll be knocking on the chairman's door for funds." So he will have to travel to london to do that. Interviewer: "How are you any different to the managers who have came and failed?" Alan: "I'm not any different ." Confidence then. Interviewer: "Have you had any contact with the players?" Alan: "No, just Kevin Nolan." Well at least he has one thing right. and who the fuck is Chris Houghton?
-
WHY-O-WHY does Jim White have to be working today? It's like he always turns up on SKY when it's the dawn of bad times at our club.
-
This press conference will be interesting. Quote 1: Massive club Quote 2: Sleeping giant Quote3: Hot-bed of football Quote 4: Passionate fans Quote 5: Attractive football

Colo is still banned anyway. I know, i was talking about the future in general.
-
We have no idea what Pardew is going to do. He could decide he doesn't fancy the two Argentinian's... na that would just be daft. I'm not one for judging people too soon but i think i will know by the weekend whether Pardew is up to the task.
-
I wonder what the odds are on Barton sticking a nut on Pardew. I'd pay to see that bout.
-
You can add Sky sports to the title now too. Jesus it's going to take some effort to get behind this bloke like.
-
This would be like the return of the messiah, or in this case the fuhrer.
-
I'm not so concerned with managerial experiance but managerial talent. Is Pardew or Curbishley more talented than Hughton, no. Have they more experiance of managing a big club than Hughton, no. This decision is so vital for our future, if he we get one of these muppets we will get relegated and without a Hughton to bring us back up. The silver lining is that i truly don't think anyone knows what Ashley's next trick is. We heard rumours not so long ago that he was best mates with O'Leary, now Pardew, who knows? If he pulls out Jol then perhaps all is not lost.
-
Oh shit, don't say that.
-
If Alan Pardew becomes our permenant manager, then that will send us into new depths of stupidity, it's crazy even compared to the Kinnear fiasco. Pardew couldn't get a job in the championship. Fucking sick.
-
The backbone of our side; Colo, Tiote, Carroll. Apart from Barton and Enrique, it's the players around about that worry.
-
It's not, simply because one of our most vital players is missing. I don't get your point TBH, if you are talking about Barton or Tiote i agree though.
-
I don't see Taylor/Campbell being an improvement on Colo/Willamson, i'd like to be wrong though. I bet Perch fucking plays.
-
They've shipped 20 goals in 14 games this season? Williamson 3 more at Chelsea. Hardly a million miles from the teams around us though is it? Had we not shipped five against Bolton we would be almost identical with the likes of Bolton, Stoke, Spurs etc (goals conceded wise). Which in the context of where we were when those two were put together, is pretty decent. Don't get me wrong, i want us to improve but those two have been steady for us.
