We would be great on the break. Keep Owen in his just behind the strikers role and i think we'd have a good attack. Replace Milner with a pacey winger and have a pretty good attack. We still need a top midfielder thou.

I wouldnt moan if we got him. Pretty solid defender, good energy and supports the wing pretty well. Not the flash signing people are expecting but would do a good job for us. It would be interesting to see him and Enrique fighting it out for a place.

This aint Football Manager or what ever the name of that game is, Football is played on the pitch and not paper. I remember last season when people like u were sayin such things and come Oct/Nov Spurs were in the bottom 3/4. It makes me laugh how some people on here has never heard of a certain player but he goto a rival club and they watch a few youtube videos and suddenly he is a worldclass player.

Tbh i thought Spurs had a very good partnership in Keane and Berb, getting rid of them and replacing them with basically unproven players in a huge gamble. It would be interesting to see how many goals berb and keane have scored when both have started up front together. Arshavin does look like a good player but unproven in the premiership. IMO they r replacing all the wrong players, they had a very good attack but lacked strength and steel in midfield and defence. They wont finish top 4 because the top 4 will be the same top 4 as the past few seasons.

Anyone know if he takes the free kicks and corners? It would be nice to have a player who could take a good corner.

Why would he come here tbh? Everton are looking good atm and probably the strongest team outside the top 4. I'd love to have him here but i cant see him moving unless it was a CHL team

not really. i am not sure that we will sign him mind, bu we do actually want him and he is attainable. the croatian coach reccomending him to go to newcastle can only do us favours though, presuming it isn't a front. are you saying we didn't actually want rooney and he wasn't attainable ? Modric can get better and has plenty of years ahead of him, Deco has past his peak and would probably feel bigger than the club. Deco would be in it for 1 last pay day while Modric will be out to impress.
