Makelele is leaving this Summer, Balack has been pretty poor and Mikel hasnt been all that good so i think Sidwell will get more games than people think. He's at the bottom of the pile tbh. Not saying he won't play but when it comes to the crunch - he'll be a long way down the list. He might start 10 games if he's very lucky. Yea he's at the bottom but as someone has said African nations is next season so quite a few players will be leaving for a while. Sidwell will get the chance to win things and to play in the CHL so i can understand why he moved there. So can I! (see first post ) But it's barmy to sign for a club when you're only going to play in the month of January. Or whenever it is. The way i see it is, He has a chance to play for 1 of the biggest clubs in England if not the world and has the chance to win things, He's gonna be playing and training with worldclass players and gonna have a chance to play in Europe and on top of that he's gonna be on very good money also his family dont need to move. He wont play week in week out but has a chance to try and prove he can play at the highest level. Basically whats he got to lose? playing 1 game in 1 month will be perfect for his career If he aint happy after a year or so he can request a transfer. End of the day people are saying he's an idiot or whatever but all he has doing is trying prove he's good enough at the top, He's been given the chance and he's taken it, Fuck all wrong with that imo. If it doesnt turn out the way he wants there will be clubs like Us,Villa,Everton willing to take him off Chelsea's hand anyway, Its not as if he throwing his career away.

Maybe thats why he only wanted a 2 year contract?

Just about the least reliable source you can get mate, seeing as any anonymous person can edit it to say what they like. And they probably have. I read it yesterday in one of the Sunday papers
-
Yea Andrade is fuckin awesome but i doubt very much he'd come here and Depo were askin for something like £15m for him
-
Im suprised no-one has put a picture of a horse up and said RVN
-
I think Dyer would jump if given the chance, I hope Bramble goes to Portsmouth and tells HR Dyer is available because i think HR would put a bid in for him
-
Arguably the weirdest post ive ever read on here
-
I cant see Wigan or Fulham surviving next season.
-
Yea i thought he was error prone aswell, He just doesnt get punished for his errors unlike Bramble
-
U cant be serious about the bramble bit. Extend Brambles contract and he wouldnt wanna goto Portsmouth, Think about it.
-
My point exactly, thank you. Ricardo Gardner, yes. Ben Haim, yes. Nicky Hunt? f*** off! Ben Haim is a cracking player. I wish he was staying. He'll probably be at Chelsea or Newcastle next year. Hopefully Newcastle, I thought Chelsea were only after him in Jan because Terry was injured.
-
Fucking hell 1st and last time im gonna say this but i agree with you
-
Let me get this straight. We're talking about one ball he played last season Yep
-
Fucking awesome game so far. Not as 1 sided as i thought it would be
-
Barca have been after him this season. Wouldnt suprise me if he goes there with Gudjohnsen leaving
-
What do people think about that Tamudo?
-
Mccarthy and Huntelaar spring to mind. Reality check - neither of whom are going to join a club which isn't playing in the CL. As Gejon just said, as I've just noticed whilst typing, but hey ho, I'll say it anyway. Oh, and Anelka and Barton in the same team? Moody overload. Were Barton and Anelka both at City together or had Anelka already left?
-
Worst thing is Luque can put in a quality ball, Anyone remember that through ball he put in against Fulham last season? Shearer should of scored, Right after that he fucked his hammy up.
-
Have we got a medical staff? Wouldnt suprise me if all we had was an ex school nurse
-
Being an ex defender he might of seen theres no hope for Bramble. Bramble just couldnt concentrate for 90 mins, SBR,Souness and Roeder all tried and failed. The fans wanted him out and he was on £35k a week (apparently) so it was best he left, Best for both parties. It would of been to much of a risk to give Bramble a contract and see what Allardyce could do with him, Players like Distin and Ben Haim are available from free so it is pointless keeping Bramble.
-
I thought he was available on a bosman?
-
I thought it was 4 or 5 on top of we we get rid of
