Can't see where he fits in. No good as the lone striker, no good playing off the striker or out wide because he doesn't have any pace or tight control. He reminds me of Ameobi, no power in his shots despite the physique and no real determination in what he's doing. a bit like when Shola used to fuck up a move and sit on his arse laughing about it

We offered £2 mill for Messi and a loan deal for Saha and got knock backs on both. But at least we've got some plates spinning........oh and we're still in the FA cup so we're on the up

'Big Geordie'...............must be an anagram for wanker
-
Lejeune should never have played in all of these matches after such a long injury. Schar has been carrying a hamstring injury for weeks and to try and make him carry on today was brainless
-
Joelinton is clinical, well worth 40mill, perhaps we should sell him for £50 mill while he's having this hot streak
-
It is what it is, we are where we are, Joelinton.........a goal scorer is always a goal scorer

Whu created some great chances and were just unlucky

I actually liked Muto, works hard and a lot of pace. Probably quicker than the lumbering AC. Vardy is looking after the bairn and Leicester feel they have enough without him. Expecting Shelvey and his superior mobility to outshine Maddison

I'm nobody's patsy will be signing a couple of new players today/tomorrow. Lallana will get a new birth cerificate bringing him down to 26yo so Mike will say yes

Hope the referee scores today after costing us the game twice out of the last 3

Moyes was average at Everton and a total failure every where else since. How on earth these guys manage to stay on the management merry go round just amazes me
-
If we got what we deserved in every game we'd be sitting in the bottom 3 now. AC spends most of his time whinging and elbowing people in the face so no sympathy there from me for not getting a penalty......or the ref

The slide down the table begins. Perhaps we should try hoofing it up to Carroll?

I'ts only a great game by comparison with the previous shit that's been served up.

Different standards and different fitness levels I know but I used to play Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon in 3 different leagues. Fair bit of beer in between as well

He battles against his markers but never seems to find any space. Compare that to the space that Salah creates for himself. I just can't see any outstanding attributes that Joelinton might have that makes him worth £40 mill

Over the hill donkey, plays for about an hour in 3 months and Bruce is talking about how effective he's been
-
Think he might rest Dubs and play Elliot and Darlow

Is it a friendly? It's being played at waking pace, no bloody urgency at all. I hadn't realised that front foot football was played like this

I firmly believe that Rafa made very average players look so much better and those said players really were. They needed someone like Rafa to nurture them and bring them on. Longstaffe is a classic example, Rafa having worked with him every day for a year before he even made his debut. I kmow he's been injured but he is a shadow of the player he was. Dummett has also gone backwards and I don't see Bruce having whats needed to bring out the best of these guys. Even top players need top coaching, look at Sterling and How Pep and Arteta have transformed him.

I just hope a lot of those free seats remain empty for the tv cameras

Sports Direct is now Frasers and generous Mike is going to give out £100 mill in bonuses. What a guy

Bruces teams are not about discipline, organisation or tactics. It's defend deep in numbers, getting bodies in the way hoping to get a lucky breakaway to the half way line, get a foul and a free kick. That gives them the chance to get a few forward and hope for a lucky goal. Without Almiron and ASM we don't have anyone to run with it from their own penalty box so we hoof it. Of course we do have the masterclass when our substitutions are made
-
Bruce went on and on about the referee, how he wasn't good enough at the elite level (Bruces level) how it's the second time he has refereed a game for us and got it wrong both times etc etc...............then he finishes up by saying that he doesn't want to criticize.............What a tosser

Bruce says it was the refs fault that we lost
