Ashley does all of the things he does purely to spite the fans. As long as it doesn't cost him money, and it doesn't, and he can get his free advertising, which he does, he will continue the way he is. At the moment I think I'd prefer Muto upfront. At least he's got some movement. I think we'll get hammered football wise but lose by a couple of goals allowing Bruce to tell us how well the lads played and what a good bunch they are

If we finish up losing our first 4 games, which is a strong possibility, I doubt Bruce would be able to take the pressure and hold it together. Whenever I watch him on the touch line he always looks kind of beaten and he certainly doesn't exude confidence. This will rub off on the players very quickly. Under Rafa, you could see that the players believed in the plan and tactics and I don't think that is the case now

4 - 1 Norwich They are a very good attacking side and create a lot of chances. If we perform like we did in the second half against Arsenal they will tear us apart. Add to that our loss of goalscorers and I just don't fancy our chances

This Ashley PR stunt is obviously working on some people. I am 75, my brother is 82 and though he now lives in Surrey and me in Scotland, we have continued to support our team since we were kids. They have been, and still are, a major part of our lives. Maybe the guy has ability but it didn't show yesterday and I'd put that down to Bruce. It looked like Almirion was told to just keep running, Joelinton was told to stay close to the defenders and not try to find space. The team just weren't compact and when we got possession we just seemed to stretch and not move forward as a unit. By the second half the players were just doing whatever they fancied as there was no game plan. It won't be long before the players get fed up with this mess
