Who does Forsberg play for? He looks good. Good touch, can dribble. -

Argies don’t have a MF. Can’t win or score if you can’t even keep possession. -

I'm slowly moving here. Would rather big decisions are correct even if we have to wait 5 extra minutes per game. -

Mitrovic has been good today, IMO. Lots of good touches, good movement. Missed a sitter but it was his movement that created it. -

I think it’s pretty fun that Ronaldo exploded last night and Messi was relatively poor today. Football’s a lot more fun with this kind of drama. It’s awesome to see them push each other like this. Hope Messi can respond in the next match. -

Bad start by the Argies. They always live life on the edge, but this was really poor. They look toothless. Messi can’t dribble around everyone like he’s 25 anymore, they need more movement and they need to be more direct just to change it up. -
Will it? Assume Kenedy in and Mitrovic out cancel each other out. That leaves maybe 1 more marquee signing (£20m) and two more mid-tier guys. Not much to upgrade our squad.

Our finances are terrible if we can only spend £40m plus sales. We must have pretty much negligible commercial income. Definitely run by idiots.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Ancelotti to Brazil

Is he supposed to wait until he’s sacked to look for another job? Do people tell their employers that they’re looking for a new job? The Spanish FA are nuts. This is a crazy decision. -
If I’m Benitez I play it the way he’s playing it, not signing anything until actual transfers are made. No need to sign anything and lock yourself in.
-
Do concussion protocols even exist in football? I can’t believe the doctors let him play on if there were signs of this. Terrible.

Kelly Olynk on Kevin Love. Yeah it really reminded me of this.

Bertrand or Gibbs would be excellent for us. They probably won’t be too expensive too given that the top teams have this position filled. I could see Everton going for one of them but we should try. They’re both better than Dummett and also tick the English box. Also both proven in the league so it’s lower risk.
-
Gibbs and Rondón have release clauses. I’d take them both. We would then need a winger and a #10 to push on.
-
Slimani should go for £12-15m. He’ll be 30 by the time next season begins. Price should be similar to Llorente.
-
Abraham and Loftus-Cheek are young English players, they’re not going for under £20m, man. Look at what Oxlade fetched Arsenal with a year remaining on his deal. Look at Drinkwater to Chelsea. That’s the fee for English players. Kenedy we have more hope of signing although I really think it’ll be around £20m because he’s young and physically up to it.
