Even though Fagan was a total cunt for the whole game, he doesn't deserve that. Guthrie should be banned for longer than 3 matches anyway since the tackle was malicious and intentional. A 3 match ban is for a dangerous tackle, but not only was Guthrie's dangerous, he meant to harm Fagan. A huge percentage of that £40m is taken up by the club's wage bill and other debts owed, which is where the problems lie, and will continue to remain unless we strike lucky like Citeh and Chelsea. It won't remain if we get rid of the wasters like Smith and Barton, or at least wait a few years until we can get new sponsorship and most of our debts (the bad one) paid.

This is the saddest part. I think he's got the right approach. I believe in his vision for the club, if you will. I want the club to win, no doubt, but I'd rather us win by signing youngsters and developing them. I'd rather we focus on our academy, have players who become superstars while with us and not before, not sign mercenaries, and have a team who's easy to support. I'd rather us do it that way, the Arsenal way, because if done properly, we'd not only be fucking awesome but have a team who most of us would be proud of. It would also be a big fuck you to the Reals and Barcas of this world, would be a fuck you to Roman Abramovich, the City owners, to the Glazers, to any team trying to buy success. It would be sweet when we won a trophy and when we competed with them, and even if we didn't and only competed, you would still be proud. Arsenal have showed us that it's possible and they're supposed to make 17m net profit each year so that they can pay their stadium debt, yet some of our fans are unhappy if we have only 20m to spend each season.

If the club rejects offers of £10M for him, then he should at least be paid as a £10M player. He had only signed a contract a year earlier.
