What a fucking match. Well done, Spurs. After Jenas scored the 3rd, I felt they deserved to get something out. I'm happy for them (for this one time only..). Great entertainment and spectacular goals. My my that Bentley one will be long talked about. Arsenal, oh man, just fucking keep the ball! They needed a calm head in there to dribble/pass the game out. Christ, I'm still excited!

Everyone I know thinks he's a right cunt and he probably really is, but he's ours and when he's wearing the stripes, I'll be backing him full tilt. Good game from him and maybe, just maybe, he can fulfill the promise he showed in last year's preseason games.

Think we'll do 'em. Owen will be back, Barton and Jonas getting fitter and fitter and I'm sure Kinnear will be telling them not to sit back that deep anymore. At least we made mistakes in a game that we could afford to (up 2 nil), and that should prevent us from repeating the same mistake (although we also made the same mistake against City...) again.

Almost our best team. Almost.

Where is Owen?

What the fuck is Gutierrez doing and Barton doing on the bench? And I thought But was unfit, the little cunt. -
Will never be a great in my eyes, the greats never had to cheat and hes been cheating since his days in La Liga. Shame good player. As for Ireland good player, but hes like Ashley Cole, good player but my God I hate him, that celebration last night was cringe, Stephen you are not a Ronaldinho you are not samba, I truly wanted to slap his bald little mug. Maradona wasn't a great then? Because he has a drug based ban and the hand of god, plus was a bit of a cheaty little git. On the other hand he is the most talented player ever. Don't know why i needed to make that point. Guess i'm just being overly contrary. This cheating nonsense is ridiculous. Cristiano's currently one of the best players in the world and wind constantly knocks him over whenever he's in a penalty area. It's a bad part of his game, as is the little tricks that Robinho uses to con refs, but he's still a pretty damn good player and has a lot of potential to improve.

Giving him the job permanently would be ridiculous. Ok, he's been good so far, but we're only saying this because of the shite that was served up in the month prior. I still can't get over the fact that KK's gone. Impressive start to the season, a decent squad... and then boom, just like that, our season's nearly wiped out. As is stands, we're 8 points behind a UEFA Cup spot. Plenty of time to catch up.

KK made the same mistake numerous times by subbing off our only true attacking outlet (Martins). Without him, teams push up and none of our players are quick enough to make them pay. Zoggy might be, but he's a midfielder. We needed someone ahead of the midfield, running, hustling and chasing the ball. Without that, the midfield dropped back too deep and just allowed City to walk the ball into our half.

You mean evaporated?

It is hard to defend when your midfielders don't pick up theirs.
