  1. If Keegan comes back is it fair to assume that Terry McDermott will be rolled back into town again?
  2. Sorry to break this to you, but Newcastle lost today, man. Vs Hull FFS And only 1 player of the new so called outstanding transfer poilcy was missing today and we couldn't beat Hull? How is that a success? Finding it hard to believe people are still backing Ashley after this shambles that we've witnessed over the last two weeks. Should be f***ing ashamed of yourselves backing a bunch of cockney twats over a man that bleeds black and white. Tossers You're missing the point. Yes, today's result was s****. We've got no manager and the place is full of bad feeling. You only had to see Shay's interview midweek to know that the players aren't exactly looking forward to turning for training every day. However, the point I'm actually trying to make is that emotions are temporary. Form, both good and bad, is temporary. On the other hand, the players that have been brought in seem to have the required talent. If we can get in that new manager - preferably someone with a track record of bringing on young players - and the club returns to normality then we will see a much better side. It's worth sticking with the current recruitment setup rather than just sacking everyone Keegan doesn't like. So the new manager wont mind the constant interfering and won't mind being undermined. That's no way to run a football club.
  3. Keegan resigned because he couldnt work within that set up (when it COMPLETELY broke). So he resigned, the right thing to do, so the club could then appoint a manager who would work within that set-up. He isn't stopping the club to move on is he? He has no say in how the club is run anymore, Ashley can do whatever the fuck he wants. It has nothing to do with Keegan. Keegan did what was best for the club, and resigned because he knew he wasn't the right man.
  4. You really are. What part of the job description does it say 'work with players you don't want, no final say. shut up and get on with it'. he's put his ego in front of the club, rightly or wrongly. for what its worth ian dowie is doing the same thing, as is zola. maybe they shouldn't put up with it, but i can tell you right now, if they do it will benefit the club more than if they dont. Owen and Barton for sale on the last day. How can he possibly work in that environment. After all his public defense of Barton. He was constantly being undermined. Lets ignore that. Friday before deadline day. Keegan interview. 'Everyone in the club has a price'. It was known prior to the 1st Sept what the score was. The media conveniently forget this point. I am pretty sure that he was referring to the whole notion that everyone in football has a price eg: Milner, Keane, Berbatov etc etc. He wasnt allowed to comment on transfer activity according to NUFC via that last statement released. He was obviously promised a replacement, but upstairs f***ed him about.
  5. You really are. What part of the job description does it say 'work with players you don't want, no final say. shut up and get on with it'. To be fair, for all we know, it might have said that. Keegan's been a prick as well in all of this. If he is willing to still discuss coming back then he should have remained as manager and continued to discuss resolving the situation once Ashley had returned. Keegan is a freakin' drama queen. He sought out the job and should therefore not be so quick to call it quits. He's getting paid a hell of a lot of money for the job too let's not forget. Biggest mistake bringin him in. We could have just been moving along nicely now with a NORMAL manager. This is crazy. Could have been 4th right now. Didn't it take 2 or 3 days until it was official he 'resigned'? He clearly tried to resolve it, with the help of the LMA.
  6. I'm disappointed with KK too, but in no way is this all on his shoulders. Ashley, Wise, Llambias and the rest of the crew have their own share of responsibility to take of this. Those trying to pin all this on Ashley are wrong, and so are you to act as though it's all KK's fault. Everybody in power has f***ed us over, that's why it's so depressing. Comes down to the decion who do you trust more KK or Ashley, Wise, etc. Lets point out widely reported KK is considering sueing for constructive dismissal.

  9. Fantastic signing by KK Thats why we are losing because of DG.
  10. Cynical but likely. 2 million pounds. Unlikely.
  11. Italy - Juventus - Del Piero, black and white stripes. Spain - Barcelona.
  12. A Joe Pesci in Goodfellas type of character would be good for a laugh.
  13. Did you bother to read anyone else's opinion, or did you just start spouting this s*** thoughtlessly...? Keegan has lied repeatedly, why do you believe him? Of course he's not going to be honest and say "Yeah, if I hadn't have been so pig-headed and actually gotten on with the job I was hired to do, then I'd still be boss of NUFC" You dont have a clue. Ok... point out any part of my post that is incorrect and then say im sprouting shit. I'm solely going by what was written in Keegan's statement and lets be honest he knows alot more than you do. You fool.
  14. yet you knowashley would want to hurt us? is what i'm reading into that... do tell... ...and where did i mention Ashley you didn't, that's why i said i'm reading that into it but by saying keegan is blameless by implication you're saying someone else is not surely? Whoever brought in the player(s) without KK approval is the person responsible for KK walking. Or am i wrong? If KK didn't want the players because he'd never heard of them, but they turned out to be good...who would be wrong? Everyone keeps saying IF ffs. Fact is in Keegans own statement said he was undermined! That meant he wasn't allowed to do his job and he was working with players he didnt want. What kind of manager would take that? Doesn't matter if the players were good or not, he didnt have final say.

  17. Based on what? You would think Keegan was the pope the way some people on here go on about him. If your a manager and you one day get a player you dont want. You are being undermined no? Why would/should he stand for that? So he quit. It's pretty obvious tbh.
  18. We all know Keegan loves the club wouldnt want to hurt us if he had a choice. He was undermined, so resigned. Any manager worth their salt would do the same. KK is completely blame free.
  19. A yes from me. He is definetly not a 'yes' man.
  20. He is looking to sell any player for a profit. How can we be confident in him.
