Most of the top 4 teams have got a good english backbone excluding Arsenal. Man Utd - Ferdinand, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney Chelsea - Cole, Terry, Lampard Liverpool - Carragher, Gerrard and Crouch(to an extent)
-
Paint it black - Rolling Stones or just as good from the Stones - Gimme Shelter

When you buy players there is always a risk to it. We should hang on to N'Zogbia for dear life, because we know HE CAN do the business here, he is young and proven. Bringing in people seems all well and good now but is a replacement definetely going to fill the void left by the Zog? What if we sign another flop. We would have lost our best player and brought in Average 'money taking' Joe.

I thought Viana was good player for us mind. lol no, no, no, no and no.

on what evidence a couple of sub appareances and a season of the reserves I do see what you mean but kazenga is no way ready to start and should be going out on loan if we are serious about him milner is not great but is no means the worst player in the starting 11.... who else can we play right wing. we aren't signing anyone. Kazenga works just as hard as Milner from what we have seen, and from brief appearances there has been glimpses of genuine quality. The season is over for us, why not?
-
What does he bring to the RW position. Work rate and .......? Not enough would honestly rather have Kazenga playing every week from now on.
-
you say that with Babayaro and Carr still on our books?
-
Alot of fans hate us for exactly the same reason. We aren't a big club. Well I don't think we're a top4 club. That league belongs to Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. Corrected

Didn't go because Spanish hairdressers are better than English. How would your love muffin survive over here?

I'd get some older playmakers to make the numbers up if we can't get who we want in. At least it would give us an option! Sibi did a great job for us in that respect Mm Rui Costa is he retired yet? Or what about Valeron

What's with the 'ban me' 'ban him nonsense' On topic, KK needs to stay away from Woodgate he is injury prone shiteness. Was class couple of seasons ago, but is a completely different player nowadays.

yesterday my brother was in a pub in Nottingham about watch Spurs game, when Laurent Robert popped in sat down pretty close to him with a french pal to watch the game and knocking back the water. wasn't happy about something apparently, pissed off at Derby already ? probably

Be an improvement to what we have, we can't really say we have a supporting striker can we? Smith??
-
nope, hoyte would still be playing!
-
Owen's legs have gone get him out for what we can in my opinion. Whilst he is still 'fit'. Martins is the future, there is a reason Wenger has been interested in the guy and the Inter fans were so sorry to see him leave
-
He can't, it's not his club anymore. None of us are allowed to. Your a WUM

Why? i guarantee you he wouldn't of heard of half the players doing good things in Italy, Portgual, Spain etc. Therefore i don't see many foreign signings and sticking to 'good, honest' players "good, honest players".........that'd be a welcome change. Smith, Butt, Milner would sit in that category. Depressingly.

Here's how I feel about Shearer ... I think he would be a good manager but as far as buying players goes I think he would struggle massively. I think Shearer would be the sort to always go after Brits. Shearer would have bought someone like Smith too. Does he really have the knowledge of world football that will allow us to get the best players we possibly could to the club? That would be my biggest worry. you didn't read my post and steal it did you lol. I do 100% agree though

he would be terrible in the transfer market.
-
He's a good player but out of our reach. But worth a shot, nothing to loose... he would be like viana in my opinion, a big gamble
-
Yes, yes - if appointed. not my first choice but will improve us imo

That's harsh man and not fair at all. Harry has shown this season that if he gets enough good players together he can have them performing at a high enough level to have some success. In my opinion the only thing that team lacks is a real goalscorer. Had they succeeded in signing anelka or Yakubu in the summer they would have been a very serious threat to the top 4. People say he's a side step, but I would appreciate something more concrete. What exactly do you think he does poorly. All I see is a manager who manages players well, does well in the transfer market, and now having assembled a decent team is actually having some success with them. So what are his specific flaws? We easily pointed out Allardyces, what are Redknapps? TBh Harry hasn't shown anything in hiw whole carrer I'm remotely interested in. Got west ham to europe. nurtered young talent such as defoe, cole and lampard. Avoid relegation. Can spot a bargain, knows how to use a transfer window. Not afraid to gamble on a foreign player
