Tbf it sounds like we are creating more but i'd expect that against the opposition we have faced so far. Lille and Braga will be much stiffer tests and a better show of where we are at. It's a shame he didn't take the risk of the championship. He may not have been guaranteed first team football but he could have earned it and it would have been a better learning experience for him.

I hope he does. Never understood why he was always overlooked. Me neither, i think he's comfortably better than the current bunch that have actually been given a chance here and there the likes of Newton and Richardson. He goes out on loan for the first time and is loved by Crewe fans and actually did a fantastic job for them then he comes back with no appreciation from us. Very disappointing. Actually take my hat off him for turning down the new deal to take the step down to work his way back up if he feels that’s best way he will get recognised. Good luck to him, our loss. When I went hunting on Crewe forums they didn't seem to love him. They wanted him back for his goals but thought that his technique and all round midfield game was poor. The complaints were similar to those spoken about Nolan basically.

I'll not pretend that i've watched lot's of Gomis, but everything i've read makes him out to be quite a different player.

We've gotten around that with the loan. A footballing reason, perhaps? I actually would prefer Remy, but saying a loan get' around that just isn't true. If we loan him and he get's done for rape then we are still down a striker, it'll just save us a bit of money. I thought this but someone mentioned even if he is charged the court case would still take a year or whatever to come around so we would probably get the season out of him anyway. Maybe i'm wrong but i'm not sure we'll play a man who is charged with rape. I fully back innocent until proven guilty but I just don't see it happening.

I've read a few sources saying that because they're going into liquidation they'll have a 15 point deduction. Surely if they've gone into liquidation they won't have a club to deduct points from?

I'd say no mate, as a rule just never post a football video unless it's from a fans mobile (from a game there at). Fair enough, well worth checking out though as it's good quality and show's some nice goals from last season. He has a bit of the Ameobi family's clumsy skill about him in those videos.
