There's plenty around but they're just not getting regular games. That's the problem in only selecting players from the 'big clubs' where they will probably never realistically break through. Where are the Southampton players (Shaw, Ward-Prowse and Clyne) who have actually played in the Premier League. There are a lot of players from outside the "big clubs" really. Shaw was out with injury. Clyne is now too old I believe. Not sure about the other.

Ameobi doing well but wasted a decent chance.

If Zaha wasn't with England or Ince wasn't banned, Ameobi wouldn't be there. He's at best the 5th choice wide forward for the Under 21's.

While there are so few strikers coming through, there are some very talented wide forwards around. Ince, Zaha, Redmond, Shelvey, there's meant to be a very talented lad at liverpool Jordon Ibe or something. Plus Ameobi (who is now on).

That said, Wickham as England's number 9 and replaced by Kane. Both are pretty poor. 6-0 now. Tom Carroll. Heard some good things about him.

Yup, it's amazing that players like Redmond for 2m and Shelvey for 5m has passed us by as a club.

The only players i've heard us linked with at all are Gomis, Sinclair and Ince. All three are not on international duty.

Where did you read that? i'm looking at his profile at the moment and it says he played CF in every appearance. You realise I was responding about Saber Khlifa right?

According to whoscored.com he predominately played centre forward last year but did play a number of times on the wing or wide forward.

Ferguson got an assist in the Birmingham match. Looked like it would've been a winner but Plymouth got a very late equaliser. In extra time now. All three loanees got 90 minutes though Ferguson got taken off just before the Argyle injury time equaliser.
