I'm doing my usual cinema visit to avoid the nervous internet searching for any news. Every year I leave the film excited to see who we've signed and i'm always dissapointed. Part of me know's we won't sign anyone but I know i'll be excitedly searching.

Just not a winger. I think he is a useful squad player and if we want a creative player in the hole he's our best option but out wide we really need to sign someone if we're playing 4-4-2 or possibly even give Sammy a chance if we don't sign anyone.

When Cabaye came on it looked like Sissoko became the deeper midfielder and Cabaye was pushed up to really support the attack. Anita is a good passer but he isn't a creator and Sissoko isn't either. He was put on the spot a pass and possibly pick up a goal. He wasn't very good unfortunately, put in a couple of very poor challenges and fluffed his one chance to shoot.

Really tidy, always available for a pass and consistent with his own passing, the reason why we kept possession so much better today. I like his partnership with Sissoko, concerned it'll be broken up after the international break if Tiote is back.

I agree about Remy but Anita and Sissoko are doing well so no need for Cabaye yet.

Sissoko should be getting in the box more but I don't think it's a player thing. I think it's a tactical decision from Pardew, caution first. We've played so many midfielders but they never get in the box. I've been pleased with Anita and Sissoko this game. I think our biggest problem is the lack of actual technical ability in our forwards. Neither have the ability to control a ball and bring others into play.
