  1. So happy for Fulham at the moment, just hope they'll able to keep Pompey quiet. How fun wouldn't it be if Sibbers equalised in the dying minutes of the game?
  2. Come on Fulham! Really don't want Reading to stay up.. I wonder if Fulham would have been in this mess with Cookie Coleman still in charge
  3. and fucks off away from taking penalties. Radio Newc reckon it crept under Howard. Scored = good penalty. Well, it's not really that simple. Err, yes it is in my book. Sure, he might not be very convincing, but if he scores, he's done his job. He either scores or doesn't; succeeds or fails. Until he fails, he's taking good penalties. As long as they still go in, sure it's good but it doesn't necessarily mean that the penalty is well taken. In this case, Owen scores a lot of flukey penalties and his luck will run out sooner or later. Shearer on the other hand, he was a quality penalty taker. Troll, I really don't know. For some reason I would trust Emre although he's not on the pitch and almost certainly a gonner. It's something for Keegan to sort out in the summer.

  5. He's not even in the squad Newcastle (from): Harper, Forster, Beye, Enrique, Taylor, Faye, Edgar, Cacapa, Diatta, Butt, N'Zogbia, Duff, Geremi, Owen, Smith, Martins, Carroll.
  6. Campbell to leave Pompey in the summer and Luisao is being lined up as a possible replacement, according to Sky Sports. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3532205,00.html
  7. First ten in second half: Chelsea third 4% Middle third 55% Newcastle third 41% Well, things can only improve I suppose...
  8. Good first half, we've managed to keep Ballack and Essien rather quiet surprisingly. If we can keep that up, I can see us getting a point or even all three! Fingers crossed everybody!
  9. Happy to see Charlie on the bench, maybe he's not "definitely leaving" as people on here are suggesting
  10. Now when I think about it, we don't have any player in the number eight shirt and #15 is Diatta... I take it as the Telegraph messed up the numbers
  11. I just stumbled upon a quite interesting picture on the telegraph's website.. We really were headless chickens earlier http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/graphics/2008/05/04/sfntac104.gif
  12. Think it's based on the 06/07 season
  13. Let's play a little game: How many free-kicks will Smith give away? My guess is three
  14. It was Edgar. 42min - NEWCASTLE GOAL (2-1): Joey Barton clips a ball over the top for OBA MARTINS to chase, the Nigerian has sprung clear and has just Robert Green to beat and does so in confident fashion with a right-footed poke to put the visitors right back in it - 10th of the season for the Toon No.9.
  15. Africa United FC for the win! Beye with the winner Enrique is African according to some news report about the players we were losing to the ACN. So that means we could have an all African back four then with Beye - Faye - Diatta - Enrique! We're gonna win the league next season!
  16. It will end up like it did back in 2005, 4-2 to us after a treble from Owen... Can't see it though, not with Edgar and Taylor at CB. This really shows how vital Faye is to our defense
  17. It looks like BBC lost all faith in Fulham Man City 12-0 Fulham
  18. Okay, who here has been editing his profile on wikipedia? "On 23rd April 2008, it was being reported in the Croatian press that Dinamo Zagreb had held preliminary talks with Newcastle United over a proposed transfer. It has been reported that Luka Modrić would cost in the bracket of £15 million."
