  1. Of course we can sell him. You can play for three different clubs under 12 months or whatever the time frame is... Like El Hadji Diouf, he left Bolton for Mackems in the summer of 2008, then went to Rovers in january this year.
  2. Sod it, split the difference and go for 34 and Ginbert on the back. Good idea if I ever fancy starting a gin distillery..
  3. Can't decide whether to get Ginola 14 or Robert 32 on the back. I was fairly young when Ginola played for us (8-10 y.o.) but I've always liked him and he was one of the players that got me into Newcastle. That said, I was a huge fan of Robert even though he was a bit weird from time to time but he was absolute quality. Probably going to let the dices make the choice
  4. Surely a mock up. Spurs shirts are often nice IMO but that's just shockning. That said, if Bolton are going to wear their shite shirt Spurs might as well...
  5. Do any of you know if the store at nufc.com use the new championship lettering or not?
  6. Same team Barcelona take blood money off while wearing Unicef on their shirts explain please Bunyodkor are owned by the Uzbek government The Uzbek government are brutal and tyrannical, widespread human rights abuses, been condemned by Amnesty International etc Barca accept millions from Bunyodkor to go over there doing publicity stunts for them, high-profile friendly match etc So what you are suggesting is that Joan Laporta is the real Harvey "Two Face" Dent?

    SAS to SOS?

If we could get some rich investors on his side then I'll be more positive. Good thing about Shepherd is that he's ambitious, knows the club and is craving for success like everyone else. Can see us getting back into the Premiership on the bounce with him at the helm. Our finances would be fucked up totally, of course since it's Freddy, but here is where the rich investor part comes in. He's better than Ashley but not by much. If we could get anyone else in who's filthy rich I'd take that, but that's not going to happen unfortunately..
  8. "Manchester City have an interest in Jonas Gutierrez - boss Mark Hughes watched the Argentina wide-man when he played for Real Mallorca - and City could afford the £7-8m Gutierrez would command." From Daily Mail. If we manage to get £8m for Jonas then surely we should get about the same for both Colo and Martins.
  9. Americans mentioned for the first time (this time around). Steve Jobs didn't do the Apple Keynote a couple of days ago in San Francisco. People might say he's taking time off due to serious illness but I think we all know where he was...
  10. If someone could give me a job in Newcastle I could move there so that would mean at least one, can only talk for myself. With lower gates I assume 40-45k
  11. I'd like Shearer to stay on and I'd like Speed to get some sort of coaching role. BUT, we need some sharp tactical man who can teach Big Al. Sir Bobby would have been the ultimate but that's not going to happen, I know that. I love Shearer but his inexperience showed today but with the guidance of a "tactical mastermind" we could be our man for the next 20 years... I keep on believing, stupid me
  12. I know what you're on about. I'm a Rögle man myself but the way MIF started over with "Baby hawks" is just what we need here. Players with heart. Who fights. Who cares about the club. No more money grabbing over the hill old names but new, fresh youngsters!
  13. If we don't manage to get it within the first two years, I think we could be down in the CCC for a long time. That said, I don't know. No-one fucking knows. Let's get rid of all the deadwood we've got in the squad and bring in players who wants to play for Newcastle and not for their pay check. It's a rare thing in today's world but there's still some people/players out there who's more passionate about their favourite club than their American Express...
  14. Let's all write to Warren Buffet or someone and hope for the best
  15. I. Just. Don't. Care. Any. More.
  16. 3-0 win. Based on todays bowling match I had with my dad. I haven't played bowling for like a year prior to today, much like some of our players who hasn't played football for like a year. He started and I named him A.V. on the screen. I called myself NUFC naturally. Played three games, close first game but I won. Second one I took home without any problem and won the third one as well, even though it was a tough one. So 0-3 final score. Yes, I put a wager on 0-3 at 40/1. I'm heading to Vegas!
  17. I'm in Cali right now as well and really need to go to bed so I can get up early in the morning and drive to the pub and watch the game. Only problem is that I'm too nervous to sleep.. Just lying in bed twisting and turning and ah! In less than ten hours we'll know our fate..
  18. Pretty sure the deals runs out next year
  19. Great win today, just keep building on from this and get a good result against Fulham so we can feel even safer going to Villa Park... Great pics here http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx?src=quick&contractUrl=2&assetType=image&family=editorial&phrase=newcastle Love the way Dowie is celebrating the goals, he seems to care a great bit:)
  20. Oh how I wait for this thread to change if he scores against Fulham... That said, I voted yes.
  21. If we get an early goal I can see us winning with a couple of goals. Just need to score that first goal, and so far we haven't been able to do that. Just read 'boro has lost the most away games this season (along WBA) and only managed to score nine goals on their travels! That said, we can boost the second worst home record in the entire league, worst side is Hull.. I'm going crazy in this prediction, 3-0! Anyone knows where to see the game in Los Angeles? Preferably somewhere near Hollywood and all the youth hostels...
  22. If we win against Fulham and Boro I think we will be able to do it. Hull's run in is a tough one same as Middlesbrough (and ours). But I won't stop believing we can't do hence I'm still optimistic... Standing firm on 8
  23. I'm really shitting myself for this game, even though I think we'll get a much needed result. I've got a feeling Viduka will score if he comes on which he should since I doubt he's starting. When he and Martins came on against Spurs last week we looked much livelier and actually created some chances. I've been down under since September and haven't been able to see many games due to the time difference and my work, but the first half against Spurs was a really depressing experience to watch. We were simply shit and the fact I watched with a Spurs supporter and a few other lads who kept telling me we would go down, made it even worse. But the way we played first 60 min, I agree to some extent with them. Shockingly lacklustre midfield, no build up play whatsoever and so on, it's not a type of game suited for Premier League and certainly not Newcastle United. Worst part of tonight's game is that I can't see it due to the fact I have to be on a bus 15 minutes after kick off and the phones network coverage is everything from good so I probably won't know the outcome of the game until a couple of hours after midnight! I'm going for a 3-1 win, Martins with a brace and the final from Viduka
  24. Both Bramble and Abdoulaye Faye made this weeks team at Sky Sports, who would have thought that?
  25. Some stats from the Tottenham game: Tottenham - Wigan Possession 46% 54% Shots on target 3 5 Shots off target 5 3 Corners 3 3 Fouls 11 13
